We called into the Hertz location. The guys there were very nice. They told us we would need to set up a rental with the vehicle we wanted to buy. We set up the rental. Even after setting up the rental like they required, Hertz went and sold the car at auction instead. The nice guys at the location didn't have any power over it. It came from corporate. Our rental was canceled and we didn't owe anything, but we jumped through their hoops just for them to sell it even though we signed up to buy it like they asked. It was a disappointing experience. It's hard to trust what they're offering when they can just choose to sell it wholesale instead of honoring the sales listing that they put out there.

Said NON NEGOTIABLE several times, seemed uninterested in showing or selling me the car, couldn’t answer basic questions about the car

Called and emailed multiple times and did not get response. Was I was able to get a hold of them, they said car was sold. But it was still listed as available. Very unfortunate experience.

I was willing to buy but I asked for the car to be driven to me and I could not get a straight answer if yes or no because I had to ask like 5 different people there all who had no intercommunication it was like starting from scratch each time and when I did talk to some guy there he asked me, " What would I gain by driving the car wherever you are if you do not decide to buy it?" And I told him he would have a nice day and drive. He told me, "Why don't you take the train or something and the you can have the nice day and drive."

Things started out rocky upon arrival. Car wasn’t ready parked behind four rows of cars in the back. Mo told me to give him some time and the car would be ready for a test drive. Another salesman Mario reassured me Mo would handle it and I would love the car. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he called me back as soon as I sat down to eat just down the street. Mo promised he would take care of me and I feel like he did. The car needed a few things which Car Lux took care of and delivered to my house three hours away. Over all I was satisfied with the service and treatment I received from Mo and the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend Mo even Mario if you speak Spanish.
