Ford dealerships near me (Lake Orion, MI)

Dealer was great to talk with but wouldn't let me make a deposit on the car after I had It professionally inspected. They sold it out from under me while I was waiting on the dealership to reopen Monday morning. Typical of my experience with car dealers. They are corrupt and will lie about everything and anything for their own benefit.

The dealership responded quickly. Once I started to talk to the salesman (Martin),things went smoothly. He kept in touch by phone, text and email. He answered any questions I had and got back with me in a timely manner. I would recommend this dealership to others. On a side note I'm over 500 miles away.

Onsite the people seemed confused and wouldn't direct us to our salesman. When we met him he didn't mention that the price had gone down nor that the trunk wouldn't open, the taillight was cracked, there were reflectors missing and the rear wiper fell off when I tested it. They wouldn't take it to service right then like we requested about 4 times over the 3 hours we were there. If they even said Yes we can fix it i would have bought the car but they wouldn't take it back. He did call 5 minutes after we left to tell me it was in service but nothing else. I texted him 4 days later when I hadn't heard back and was told while it was being service they sold it as is. He claims he left a voicemail but I have no call or vm record on my cell. The other thing that was weird is they wouldn't let me drive off the lot with 3 other cars he picked himself for me to test. None had been inspected and one clearly had a transmission issue. It was very strange and uncomfortable.

Negotiated price, gave my photo ID, waiting for title to be returned. Notified that they decided to sell back to original owner!! Salesman was great, management very unethical. Wouldn't trust them with a car purchase. Their word means nothing!

Took 3 days to answer warrenty questions.
