Ford dealerships near me (Baytown, TX)

Dealership responded in a somewhat timely manner but the feedback, I got back was very disappointing! I got the impression that their Jeep was the ultimate for the price and no wiggle room whatsoever which wasn’t the case! I found a limited edition, unlimited wrangler with a lot less mileage, all the bells and whistles, for 3K less than there asking price, so I bought that Jeep!

Have called about 2 different trucks and both times it has been a bait and switch on price and availability! First truck didn’t exist, got a not their problem excuse. Second truck was online and on their website for 43k called and they told me that was an old ad and the truck was 78k and by the end of the conversation it was actually 94k! Very sketchy!

I was supposed to be able to just go in and sign papers and pick up the car. They tried to sell it to me at the original price, not the marked down price I had agreed to. They said they could do the deal with no money down but made me pay $500 down. I should have walked out at that point. Played the game of having to go ask the manager and taking so long that of course I just wanted to get out of there. The car had more problems than just some small physical damage. For instance, the steering wheel when pulled out and raised up would not go back to the original down and pushed in position. Then when I got home and really looked at the paperwork, they tacked on gap insurance and tire service care without even asking or taking to me about it!!!! Look at the breakdown really good if you decide to buy anything from these people!

Fast and very Friendly people

My experience at Ron Carter Dealership is very disappointing. They had the vehicle that I wanted. I went there to buy it. When I got there the price tag was the same but there was an addition of over $2500.00. I was told it was for the oil change, rotating the tires and stuff like that. I refused to pay that extra. The sales person told me the manager took it off as a discount. I was within $4000.00 from what the asking price. I would have paid the full price if they only showed me some interest in making a deal. Not even the manager had any sense in customer service. Non of the staff was friendly. I left very disappointed. Ron Carter and staff never even bothered to followed up with a call to win my business. I do not recommend this place at all. I took my business elsewhere, where they really know how to treat customers.
