Heater not working
I have gone thru most the threads to to try and find my answer. Here is the
back ground my car was hit on the drivers side front and rear door not hit
hard just pushed the car about 3 feet, after I got the car from the body shop
my heater is not working all it does is blow cold air, some of the things
people in other threads said to check, I have checked the following. Both
hoses coming in and out of the heater core are hot, when I turn the knob
from cold to hot the valve in the engine compartment moves. The
temperature stays at half way all the time like it has always done. Is there
anything else that I can check?
Check your thermostat!
Cars not running hot, temperature is where it always sits right in the middle
Sounds like the blend door ( door that switches from A.C evaporator to heater core ) is not working or has become disconnected some how.
It's the blower motor resistor, I had the same issue and it's fine now. $23 or so, it is located behind the glove box and has two screws that hold it in.
You think its the blower motor even though it is blowing air just not hot air
