Engine power reduced

Asked by GuruXQ3N2 Nov 05, 2018 at 08:34 PM about the 2010 Chevrolet Malibu 1LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car is a 2010 malibu lt. The engine power
reduced lights up whenever i drive trough bumps
and it slows down and shuts off. I did take it to my
mechanic and he did put the computer to check
the codes. I changed the Throttle Positioning
Sensor and the Pedal Accelerator Sensor. After
that it was very well. Now it's starting again i took
it to auto zone and orally and told me to take it to
the Chevrolet dealership. I need to know if i should
or not because it is going to be far from where i
live.
