IMA light?

Asked by Victoria Apr 29, 2017 at 10:56 PM about the 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2008 Honda Civic hybrid about 3 weeks
ago and the IMA light came on and so did the
check engine. The seller told me it'll go away. It did
for about two weeks but now it's back. My car runs
fine and i just recently changed its oil hoping that
would make the check engine light turn off. The IMA
light is still there but it's charging just fine? It goes
to three bars and then charges back to full capacity.
Should I be worried?

1. Push and hold the odometer/ trip RESET button. 2. Turn on the ignition and hold it till the light goes out. Note: It should take about 10 seconds.
