Can a 2002 5.9 v8 1500 dodge ram fit in 2004 4.7
v8 1500 dodge ram truck

The problem is with the tone ring, the reluctor on the crankshaft. 2002 has a 16 tooth reluctor ring, and the 2004 has a 32 tooth reluctor ring. But there are ways to make the engine run, I've looked it up before, just can't remember exactly what is needed.

You'll have to change the computer and wiring harness.
