Will 94  Jimmy transmission work in 98 blazer

No it would not. The '94 trany is controlled by a OBD1 computer, and the '98 is controlled by a OBDII computer.

1995 was the last year for the OBD1, 1996 is when automobiles went to the OBDII computer. These two tranys are not compatible.
