Will a 4.3 in a 1999 gmc jimmy work
in a 1997 sonoma? Are all the
electrical and fuel assemblies the
same? Thanks

Is there a 4.3 in the Sonoma as well? That would make things easier. You might have some very minor variations in wire harnesses and intake, ECM may need to be reflashed, but overall this is a straightforward swap. If you want a better walk through before committing, try a Chevy/GMC truck forum.
