2014 RAM 2500Review
I had a 2014 Ram Longhorn Mega Cab, it was actually a 3500, but I loved the truck. It rode very well for a one-ton truck. The Cummins Diesel outperformed the newer powerstrokes on a consistent basis. This truck could pull our heaviest trailers and had to be held back. The engine brake was phenomenal, it would keep the same trailer under control on most grades. The only issue I have with Ram trucks, is the seat heaters take a little longer than the other brands, but that is negligible. You will not be upset if you get one of these trucks. |

Great Truck And My Last New One. — This truck is my last new truck purchase so I hope it will be reliable. I have had numerous trucks in the past and so far I enjoy the economy and road handling of this one. Off road it has performed great and I enjoy running around in it at my ranch. The 4wd setup takes it everywhere I need to go on regular highway tires. I do have to chain up when on steep inclines however and snow but that is part of ranch life. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: This truck with the 6.4l hemi is great and a far improvement from my 2007 6.7 diesel. Cons: Rear differential had to be rebuilt after 7k miles. Poor factory setup, but all covered under warranty. |

Great — The trucks is great does everything a truck should do an then some! Ram did a great job with the new 6.4l and so much interior room. Still gets good gas mileage for a big truck with a big motor. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Runs great, lots of power, awesome truck Cons: None |
