Really nice vehicle. Has just about everything you want or need. Learned reading many reviews that 11-16 have a lot transmission issues and computer problems that are expensive to fix.

Nice Car And Easy On Gas. Great To Run Around Town Of Country In. — This car is almost as capable as my 07 Jeep Wrangler and much more comfortable and quiet. The cost to operate is much cheaper and easier to drive. I like the standard SAT Rad and U connect is very easy to use. The Bluetooth was connected in about two minutes to my smart phone. Full size spare tire with TH option the others have cheater spare I think. The black leather seats with red stitching looks rich and the interior has many soft appointments that are well done. Bravo Jeep.

Great Design And Engineering In A Mid-sized Suv — for medium-price range transportation, this is a great choice; the size is large enough to offer four to five people comfortable space with a great sound system and a stylish ride. It easily outshines every other competitor in its class

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: great looking runabout.  not too big to be cumbersome but high enough above road for great visibility.  touch screen features and iPhone dock are fun and convenient.

Cons: front wheel drive not great in deep snow

I Love The Styling — I can't say anything negative. overall this vehicle is excellent. the only thing is because it is an Overland with the 4.7 HO it is thirsty!! It is very comfortable and gives you a sense of security on the road. I am sure the newer ones are even better!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: awesome SUV has got me out of a pile of trouble!!

Cons: gas mileage

Jeep Has A Winner With The New Cherokee — I've spend some time driving the new Cherokee recently and am very impressed by what Jeep has done with this car. Feels like a much more expensive SUV in that it rides and handles so well. Amazing gas mileage as well.

Pros: I love how solid this new Cherokee feels. Just feels like a well built car. Gas mileage has been excellent.

Cons: None so far.

Unreliable And Poor Quality — I began the lease on this car in January 2014. It's starting mileage was 250 miles. At around 800 miles I began to hear a grinding noise coming from the rear wheels. I brought it into the dealer service center. It took them 2 days to figure out what was wrong. Turns out the rear differential was broken. They replaced it. I was without the car for a week. Fast forward, now approximately 4700 miles. Another grinding noise, this time from the front of the car. I thought it was something in the left front tire. So again I brought it to the dealer service center. Turns out it wasn't the wheel, it was the transmission. So now the car sits at the service center awaiting a NEW TRANSMISSION! Unreal. I'll never buy another jeep. Keep in mind these were all highway miles. I haven't even had the opportunity to take it on a back country camping/climbing trip yet. But not sure if I want to! Poor quality and unreliable.

Pros: I like the looks and the interior. The V6 was the way to go. But I will never buy another Jeep again!

Cons: Completely unreliable. I've had two major issues with the car and it only has 4800 miles on it.
