Ive only had the vehicle for a few days, but I had no idea a 2013 could have so many hi-end features. We took it into the mountains yesterday (no off-roading) and all went well.

This car has almost every option you could want. A couple of items missing, the cargo cover & the push to start button, but those are minor. A believe this car was a good value, although the mileage is a little high for the year. This car is the only vehicle I would have given up my Ford Flex for & thats saying a lot. Thank you again for helping me find the perfect car for us.

An Iconic Suv From The Most Respected American Auto Brand —

The Grand Cherokee is one of the few vehicles in its class that I can enjoy driving. I drive a lot of vehicles, and very few cars feel like they have been properly sorted. It rides well, not too hard or soft, and the handling is responsive despite the off-road capabilities. The Grand Cherokee feels premium, the design is crisp and handsome, and the interior outfitting is also stylish, and in Limited trim and above, it's pretty luxurious. My Grand Cherokee is a 2013, which means the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 and 5-speed automatic transmission. It's a well-proven powertrain that doesn't cause me any worries as an owner, but the newer 8-speed ZF automatic transmission is smoother and may also boost the fuel economy. I wish the Grand Cherokee with the V6 returned better in-town fuel economy, but it'd be even thirstier with the Hemi. I also found that the standard Michelin Latitude Tour tires are not any good in the winter. The 4x4 system has little trouble getting you going, but turning and stopping, and not sliding off the road, are going to be dicey propositions without proper winter tires. I invested in a set of Blizzak DM-V1s and they're on the car from early December to late March, making it sure-footed when winter strikes. A couple of personal preference things: The Limited trim has a lot of polished/chrome trim. I kind of prefer the Laredo's more understated painted wheels and body-color mirror caps and door handles. On the other hand, the Limited is a pretty well-equipped trim level, coming with standard leather, navigation, and even a sunroof. I skipped the panorama roof because it's a lot of weight high up in the vehicle and it's a $1,500 single option. I was also surprised to see that the Grand Cherokee isn't factory undercoated. I've got to be extra -diligent to keep salt from eating it. Reliability has been good so far, I'm pushing 40,000 miles and don't have any complaints about breakdowns or erratic behavior. I love the Grand Cherokee, I get asked about it a lot and have recommended it a bunch. It's not for everyone - there are vehicles that offer more cargo room and efficiency in the same price range, but none are as enjoyable to drive as the Grand Cherokee. If I'm paying the monthly bill, I don't want to hate every minute behind the wheel. In that sense, I find the Grand Cherokee, which can be a little more pricey than your garden-variety Ford or Hyundai, totally worth it.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looks, brand cachet, comfort, features, ride and handling

Cons: Fuel economy, high step-in, limited cargo space

Awesome — I love everything about the car. From the interior setup, to the options, to the outside trim and look of the car. I absolutely love it and it's my third Grand Cherokee Limited and I'm sure there will be more in the future.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's bad ass, economical and a blast to drive.

Cons: Sticker cost is high.

Great Ride, Sporty, Fun, And Functional — The Jeep has come along way over the years but when they now say its the most awarded SUV on the road I know why. The styling is great, the chase and power train are solid, and the interior is like being in a european luxury car. No wonder its been call the american range rover. With advanced features like collision avoidance, blind spot alerting, and adaptive cruise control it is a dream for those long road trips. Ample power and adjustable air ride suspension makes it a blast to drive on road and off.

Pros: Nice Looks, Great power and sound with the Hemi, comfortable ride, adaptive cruise control is amazing for road trips, very luxurious interior & stable in inclement weather.

Cons: The fuel economy could be better but its a tradeoff for the power
