Better Than Good — It's the best Bang for the Buck for a fun car. I owned 2002 Escape and drove it to 250,000 miles. It's still going with the original engine and transmission. Hope this one will last half as long. It has the power that I needed to go up the Sherwin grade, Tejon Pass, and Big Bear. It is fun car with all the amenities ...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Price, Performance

Cons: Steering while accelerating on tight turns is a little hard to control

Great Suv For Road Trips And Daily Driving. — I love the roomy feeling in a small SUV. Handles good, great sound system. Looks sharp. My friends love it. The only downside is the Navigation needs an upgrade. It get's messed up and confused occasionally. Also, it has a hard time ejecting a CD. I added the full maintenance package, so all my maintenance is pre-paid. My only regret is I should have leased this car instead I bought it. I'd rather be returning it in another year and getting a new one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very solid. Looks good. Seats fold flat for great hauling ability.

Cons: The navigation systems has bugs. When it works it's great. But it gets messed up occasionally.

2013 Ford Escape Se — I love the stability and handling of the Escape, fun to drive, quiet and comfortable even on long drives (10 hours) Solid vehicle, no complaints and love it. It drives more like a car than an SUV. I would highly recommend the Escape to any one!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of power/torque even at highway speeds. Nicely finished interior. Excellent convenience features, keyless entry and key pad. Ergonomics are excellent. Very quiet interior.Good quality fit and finish, very nice steering wheel. many nice surprise features like w/shield wipers that swing up and off w/shield for cleaning.

Cons: The gas mileage is a little less then advertised but still really good. No real good place to put a cell phone.

Great Reliable Small Suv — The car appearance is great with comfortable seats, and amazing sound system. The sync system is very responsive to my commands. I get 24 MPG, so not bad for a SUV. Overall I am very pleased with the vehicle in general

Pros: Great technology package. Handles well with good fuel economy.

Cons: Lacks power due to the 1.6L engine and not middle console pockets

The Perfect Car For My Wife And I. — I love almost everything about this Ruby Red Ford Escape. Power, handling, good looks, gas economy, power, stability, comfort, technology, easy access in and out for my wife, we are looking forward to hitting the road this summer and seeing places and friends and relatives.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Awesome appearance, very comfortable, voice commands and high tech operations, auto opening tailgate for my wife who has MS. Good handling, power combined with good gas mileage. Four wheel drive only operates when needed automatically.  No keys, 8 inch back up camera and info screen (important for us oldies) panoramic power sunroof, heated seats, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, I really like the navigation system. The pros go on and on for me.

Cons: The price for a Titanium is a bit high, but same quality and options of many luxury suv's. The high tech features are great but intimidating.

Thankful That It's Mine. — Ford did a magnificent job in the Escape makeover! I had the old style previously , there is no way to compare the two. I see the new Escape as a way to drive an SUV and have the benefits of an economy vehicle at the same time. The car is fun to drive, handles very nicely. All controls are conveniently place. Sound system is superb.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good fuel economy, ride, drive, and the benefits of an  SUV

Cons: None yet

New Look, New Design. — I enjoy driving this car. It handles very nicely, and gets great gas mileage. It accelerates well, and has a great response. I like the look of this car, inside and out. It is a safe feeling vehicle, and is a pleasure to drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This car has a lot of bells and whistles

Cons: Not big enough for a large family.

Great Little Crossover — Overall, it was a great purchase. I've only owned one other Ford - a 2003 Explorer Sport Track, and I believe this one is even better than it was. Handling and acceleration is great, and the Microsoft Sync radio still has bugs. I've installed latest firmware, still occasionally the volume control does not work - have to do a factory reset to get it functioning again.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handles well; lots of power for a 4-banger

Cons: Microsoft Sync radio has bugs...
