Luxury Car Without The Luxury Car Price — This car is a luxury sedan with tons of room but has many of the handling characteristics of a sports car. It also has a fold down rear seat to allow for that extra cargo capacity. I feel perfectly safe putting my wife and kids in this comfortable, safe car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Car handles great and has all of the ammenities of a luxury car without the price.

Cons: It has paddle shifters and although they work great and are fun to use occasionally I really don't see the point on a luxury sedan.

More Fun Than You Might Think. — Bought this for my wife after years of driving minivans and SUVs, she thinks it's some kind of sports car. This has been a great car. Everything always works as it's supposed to and I really like the look of it. The seats are roomy and comfortable and there is even room behind the driver seat while I am driving (I am 6' 2") which has been a problem with other cars. I can also fit in the back seat without folding myself into a pretzel.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Most fun appliance we've ever owned.  Mid-size sedans are generally boring but this is really good.

Cons: None so far

Surprising. — This is a great car all around. It gets great gas milage but also has plenty of get up and go. The cargo space is great and the back seat is comfortable. I really have no complaints with this car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Comfortable ride, Great space, Great power.

Best Car Altogether In It's Class. — Rare to find a stylish new car with all the needed basics for 25k new. Look no futher than the Hyundai Sonata. Spacious, but a fuel miser. Handles wonderfully, and has a sporty body and nice interior. All internal functions are easily accessible from the drivers seat. Bluetooth makes hands free operation of your cell phone easy. Only required preventive maintenance thus far.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: See review.

Cons: 2.4 liter engine produces just enough power to get out of it's own way. Much better on the highway, than on city expressways where you sometimes need to get over quickly.

In Style — I love the styling and advanced tech in this car. Bluelink, voice control, telemetrics, phone connectivity etc.. the larger wheels on the SE drove me to this model over the Limited, and the dual tip exhaust give it that meaner look. I think I want to lower it just a bit to make it look more aggressive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Love the looks and styling of my car.

Cons: Road noise is a killer but I installed dyna-mat and all is well.

If I Buy Another Sedan There Is No Doubt I Will Buy Sonata Again. — Super gas mileage. It coasts a lot. 6 speed trans is nice. Very quiet inside. XM too:) Feels waaay light. Trunk is ok. Lower profile with alloys was worth it. Looks expensive. I average 28-29 but I live in a city with a lot of grade(hill). I will buy again, and again. 260,000 on my Elantra:) I am 6'2" and the back seat is very nice. I bought the carry my son because he will be over 6'. Funny side note: Koreans refer to Japanese as the lazy people.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Best car ever!  Feels light, are the tires filled with helium?

Cons: My black carpet always looks dirty:(

Car Is Flawed. Dealer/factory Refused To Fix Obvious Problems. — The car was very close to being a very nice vehicle. I still do not understand why the factory refused to fix obvious problems and would not even return my phone calls until I filed a lemon law complaint. Be VERY CAREFUL about buying a Hyundai.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice looking car.  Offered many nice features at a resonable price.  Comefortable to sit in.

Cons: Terrible factory support on warrantee issues.  Car continuously pulls to the right - dealer cannot fix.  Radio dims to unusable level if instrument lights set below half intensity.  Fixed by removing dimming feature on radio - now always full intensity.  Defroster does not shut off - hot air continuously blowing in your face in cold weather.  Hyundai refused to fix - too expensive.  Hundai factory rep did not return numerous phone calls to discuss the problems.  I had to file a lemon law complaint to get any response at all.  Will NEVER even consider another Hyndai.  Too bad.  They turned a new customer into a lifelong disgruntled former customer in 6 short months.

Overly Suprised And Impressed — With the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T, you soooo much car for the money. The 4 cyl acceleration with the turbo is VERY responsive. This car is what I would call a smart man's Lexus. This Sonata (Limited) is a very classy looking car that I am proud to park next to my snob friends.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks, Comfort, Afforability, Responsive

Cons: So far, the ONLY thing I see is that the passenger seat is not powered.
