2011 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L Limited FWDReview

Smart, Efficient And Reliable — Nothing to dislike about this car. It has served us well as a family for local and regional transportation in Texas. Very comfortable interior, great climate control and entertainment center panel. I would purchase this car again and recommend it to anyone. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Very nice interior, with easy to comprehend and operate controls. Sits up nicely in traffic without taking too much space Cons: The four-cylinder engine does not have the acceleration power of a V6. But the lower price point warranted the selection ![]() Looking for a Used Santa Fe in your area?CarGurus has 14,895 nationwide Santa Fe listings starting at $1,800. |

2011 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Fwd — We have enjoyed this car. It has been reliable with low maintenance costs and good gas mileage (averaging ~24mpg) with primarily 'in town' driving. It has good interior room for our family of 4 with ample cargo space. We have also frequently used the storage space under the cargo area. The cups holders, vents, speakers in the rear are also convenient. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Reliable, low maintenance cost, good interior room, good warranty, good family car, premium sound system, like new inside and out, good gas mileage, remote start and heated seats great for winter conditions, good handling and safety features even with winter driving. Comfortably fits 4 adults or a family of 4-5. Cons: Would like additional seating and had the dealer add the remote start (would be nice if this was standard). |

Great Car - Inside And Out — I just love this car and would recommend it to anyone looking for a mid-priced crossover SUV. The warranty is great and has had no major mechanical issues. I've driven this car across the country to visit family and for vacations. It is comfortable and reliable. Great car for camping! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great in the snow, decent gas mileage, nice ride, lots of power Cons: Dealer Service Department |

Great Value, With Lots Of Power And Fuel Economy — Very powerful and responsive and I have achieved 28 mpg on a 3 hour road trip. My wife really likes the size, large enough to feel roomy inside, but easy to manuver in parking lots. Love the Bluetooth sync... can play songs right from my android phone and sounds better than the radio. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: powerful, responsive and good mpg Cons: As expected, the quality of the interrior is definintely that of a value vehicle |

Classic case of you get what you pay for. While the vehicle was reliable the quality, fit and finish was no where near that of the 2012 Highlander we replaced it with. Yes the Toyota cost more but theres a reason for that. By comparison the Santa Fe felt light and cheap. The 3.0 V6 almost gets the same MPG as the little 4 cyl in the Hyundai. Double fail. The 4 cyl was way underpowered yet not that good of gas mileage. Hated that engine. I have certainly owned my first and last Hyundai. Spend the extra and get a Toyota. vs2012 Toyota Highlander Limited
