The engine links to either a six-speed manual transmission or a five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence. The EPA estimates fuel economy numbers at 15/18 mpg with the manual shifter and 17/21 mpg with the automatic. Electronic stability control, traction control, an automatic limited-slip differential, and antilock brakes with brake assist and electronic brakeforce distribution all come standard.
