The 2010 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Access Cab V6 comes equipped with a 4.0-liter, DOHC V6 engine, which produces 236 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. The engine links to either a six-speed manual transmission or a five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence. The EPA estimates fuel economy numbers at 15/18 mpg with the manual shifter and 17/21 mpg with the automatic. Electronic stability control, traction control, an automatic limited-slip differential, and antilock brakes with brake assist and electronic brakeforce distribution all come standard. Exterior features include black overfenders, a front skid plate, front and rear mudguards, a deck rail system with tie-down cleats, and 16-inch styled wheels.
The Tacoma PreRunner Access Cab V6 seats four passengers in its extended cab, which features two full-size front doors and two rear-hinged, rearward opening back doors.
