Fantastic Car — This car is awesome. I've owned a 76 Camaro, 82 Z28 and an 86 Firebird and this car beats them all. Great looks, head turner and the gas mileage is respectable. The V6 has plenty of power for this old.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Gas mileage, looks, price

Cons: Tough for passengers to get in back seat

My Challenger — Well this car is really awsome, but it won't be as cool as my firebird once it's mods and things are done. you get the looks in the car and since its a new model on the road from 1970 people don't know what the car is or what they are even looking at. mhmmmm

Pros: power windows, Public Attention, awsom model.

Cons: no sunroof, slow but has some get up and go

2009 Challenger Srt8 — This was a Pretty sweet car, the only thing I wish is that they made it in a stick shift. You can only have so much fun with an automatic transmision, All in all though it is a pretty sick car!

Pros: Style and Performance

Cons: Automatic Trans

R/t "sleeper" — Car is a dream to drive.Traded my 350z in for this beast , glad I did. I have the "track pak" w/ the 3.92 gear ratio. After driving this one & a SRT , I'm glad I got the R/T track pak. It's got a better launch w/ less HP than the SRT & I saved about $10,000. With which I'll use to boost HP greater than the SRT.

Pros: Most are unaware of the "Track pak" option & looks like a regular R/T

Cons: not for a muscle car around $40,000

Stacey's Dads 2009 Dodge Challenger Srt/8 — This challenger is even faster and siker then my moms challenger, it performs really good, handles really good with high performance suspension and handling, its brand new so doesnt need repairs, hemi pearl orange like my moms, and black leather interior and its the same style but its and SRT 8 so there are some differences, its a gas guzzler also, but again its a hemi! its so much fun in these cars cuz ppl look and think wow watta nice street car, my dads mostly collecting it, neither one of them will ever be winter driven, you couldnt really hook it up in the snow anyways, this car is really amazing!

Pros: everything about this car is positive

Cons: there are no negatives about this car at all

My 2009 Challenger R/t — Performance - acceleration is spectacular, throw you back in your seat everytime tim eyou hammer it, braking is just as good as the acceleration. It will take a curve like a stock car, absolutely amazing. Appearance - well if you have seen one you know I can't describe it here. WOW!! and CLASSIC!! do come to mind. Fun Factor - Fun is not the right word. Exhilirating may be a little closer to the mark.

Pros: EVERYTHING!!!

Cons: Ummmm drawing a blank here...

2009 Dodge Challenger R/t — Simply the best vehicle I've ever driven. I dream of having one of these in my driveway. The one I drove had the 5.7L HEMI and automatic, and the 5.7L gets 33 mpg highway, so those environmentalists don't have the right to complain.

Pros: Performance, good looks, mpg, pretty much everything

Cons: none

Return Of American Muscle — Amazing handling, unreal acceleration, turns on a dime, and a nice stiff suspension. The SRT8 model comes with a 6.1L V-8 450hp, and 450lbs. of torque. I love how they kept the old look with a little modern put into it.

Pros: Will put you in the back of the seat through all gears

Cons: Not in my driveway

What A Muscle Car Should Look, Drive And Feel Like —

First let me just say that the Challenger is just simply fun to drive. The power is there when you need/want it and the response, when you hit the gas, is immediate. Surprisingly the Challenger is very quite when the windows and sunroom are closed, although some engine noise is still audible as it should be with a muscle car. While the interior may be simple and plain, all controls and gauges are easy to read and reach. The interior is quite comfortable, although getting into and out of the back seat can be sporty. Once in the back seat, however, it is surprisingly roomy for a muscle car. The truck is very spacious although you will be surprised to find the battery and an air compressor where one would expect to find the spare tire. No spare, mind you, also equals no jack. There is room for a can of fix-a-flat and a tire plug kit as well. As for exterior appearance, well it speaks for itself. The Challenger looks much more like it's 70's era predecessor than both the Mustang and Camaro. This is a problem with this car however. Everyone wants to look and stare at it. You may find yourself unable to proceed from a stop sign because a vehicle is stopped in the middle of the intersection staring at your Challenger. Another hassle is finger and had prints on your windows as people can’t help but look in the windows when it’s parked. Make no mistake this vehicle attracts attention, especially in Hemi Orange. One area that I have found lacking is in the stock air intake. I actually had mine through a code due to a lack of immediate air flow under quick acceleration. This was quickly fixed by replacing the stock air intake with a CAI. The Dodge Challenger looks like the muscle car of old but without the problems that came with their ancestors. Despite being a 2-ton beast the Hemi driven Challenger has plenty of power with a smooth and comfortable ride. The Dodge Challenger is worthy of the attention that it receives everywhere it goes and is simply a pleasure to drive.

Pros: Styling, Power and Handling

Cons: Fuel Milage but hey it's a Muscle Car
