Good —

Okay so I bought a 2013 Acura TSX w/5 spd-automatic trans. and the 2.4L inline 4-cyl engine. It seemed like a great buy, and it mostly was. Performance-wise, it is actually quite a bargain. The 2.4L offers surprisingly good pickup when you need it. Press the accelerator down to the floor and it shoots forward unlike any 4-cyl I've driven before, even more than my friend's '04 TSX I test drove a few years back. I love the 2.4's engine sound at high rev's, once you approach it's 7,100-rpm redline it screams with egotistic swagger and it sounds great! 5-spd shifts very accurately and smoothly. Handling is fairly impressive but not incredibly sporty, mostly due to the fact that the 2nd-gen TSX has electric steering instead of the previous hydraulic system. The suspension is fairly stiff and somewhat unforgiving over poor roads so it's not the best for those wanting cushy-comfort rides. But overall not too bad of a ride on smooth and average roads. The interior is quite comfy, with great interior quality and attention to detail and pretty good seat, although the front passenger seat lacks some crucial lateral support, which I found rather strange. The rear seat is still tight, almost like the lifted the same one out the 1st-gen TSX an placed it here. Anyone over 5'11 won't be very happy back there. Interior tech is fantastic, with a standard iPod dock so I can rock out to my favorite songs. The navigation system works well and isn't overly complicated unlike most new cars these days. Controls are adequate as far as being easy to use. The trunk is actually pretty roomy for a sport compact. Exterior styling is great. I really dig the pointy front nose and flat minor rear decklid spoiler on the trunklid. Great job on the styling, Acura. The verdict: Acura has left me with a smile on my face and I'm satisfied with it's mild sporty character, great interior design, and sleek exterior styling. What a great value it represents. I greatly recommend it to someone who wants a nice sporty little car with intuitive interior tech, styling, and more. Thank you Acura.

Pros: nice car

Cons: no negitives

Great Car For Everyday Use — I have had this car for a year and not had one problem with it. It has been thoroughly reliable and has served me well. If I did not move to a city, I would have had this car for the long term.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: For the price, maintenance and comfort of the car I felt that I stood toe-to-toe with any mid-size luxury sedan. Great car for young professionals.

Cons: My only con would be the 2009 GPS interface and the sound quality of the speakers. The new TSX seems to have improved in both those areas.

This Car Is New To Me. — I've only had it for about a week, so I'll let you know later. So far, it drives nice, feels sporty, and accelerates well for a four-cylinder. It looks nice on the outside, but the interior feels a little cheap with a lot of plastic.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Styling, fuel economy, comfortable front seats, technology package, xenon headlights.

Cons: Plastic interior.

This Is A Great Car But It's Really Easy To Go Over The Speed Limit (unintentionally) — I love the car but the key fobs need work, when you hold unlock for three seconds it opens all the windows + sunroof but when you hold lock it won't close the windows you have to go in the car and manually close all the windows

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: 6-speed manual shifts smooth/ great sound system (Buy the optional subwoofer)

Cons: none

09 Tsx — Bluetooth phone connection is amazing Leather seats have great support Powerful for a 4 cylinder engine Oil changes and maintenances can be costly Insurance for this car is costly Definitely a fun sports sedan Wished it had RWD instead of FWD

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Gas Mileage, Soft Perforated Leather Seats, Fun to drive, Powerful for a 4 Cylinder Engine

Cons: Paint chips too easily, Navigation/Center Screen has ALOT of glare, Could use a V6, Bucktooth front grille can take a while to get used to

Dream Come True. — It took my breath away from the first moment I sat in it ... and I never got that breath back. I envy myself driving down the road. I catch myself feeling like a little boy who got a matchbox car and can't put it down or let anyone else touch it.

Pros: Absolutely everything. They really hit the jackpot with this model!

Cons: Only 1 - the XM Radio does not refresh the songs continouosly, only a few songs after the Radio comes on.

2009 Tsx — I love the new generation tsx mostly because it's a 4 cylinder & still has the size & luxuries of the TL. super smooth ride, looks amazing & comes with all the bells & whistles at no extra cost. It's also great on gas which is a must in this economy!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: 4 Cylinder

Cons: there is no fuel open button...it's a pain to press it to open.

Great Looking And Extremely Comfortable To Drive But Vaguely Disappointing — Don't like the new vague electronic steering. I like Hondas for the steering wheel feel and this car does not have it. Also a bit underpowered on the highway commute. Not as fun to drive as it should be. Premium fuel requirement is also distracting as most Hondas get great performance from regular.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks, front seats, leather, technology package

Cons: Steering feel, braking, acceleration
