A Boring Review — Brilliant car, only the 2.5l NA engine though... but still good....(someone please buy me a wrx ;) only downfall of this car is the bloody traction control that you have to turn off every time you enter the car otherwise ....well you get no fun out of it

Pros: awd ftw

Cons: the 2.5L NA engine

Subaru Imprezza '08 — This is my second car and for the most part I'm pleased. I got it in manual which is my personal choice despite being in Los Angeles though I don't know that I like shifting as much as I did in my old Saturn sports car. I love the all wheel drive feature as it really cuts down on the spinning tires which I think happened twice in the year I have owned it. I also like having a back seat since it just so much more convenient. If I had it do do over again I might have opted for the hatch back even though I have never been a fan. My biggest problem is that if I turn the wipers on I feel them moving in the pedals.

Pros: All wheel Drive

Cons: Vibration in pedals when wipers move

2008 Subaru Impreza — This car is awesome. I love the AWD and the 5-speed. The car handles real well and the suspension is astounding. The cost is not that bad for the base model but you truly have to pay for the performance. This car is fun to drive no matter what condition.

Pros: build quality, performance

Cons: none yet

2008 Subaru Impreza — I like the basic functionality and features of my 2008. The all wheel drive is great and it handles pretty well. The biggest pluses are really just related to being a 5 door, which is the way to go I think! I don't like to drive it as much as my old '99 two door though, it seems like it's about 700-800 pounds heavier with only about 10 more hp to make up the power difference. I really wish that safety standards were more weight conscious. A car the size of my subaru should weigh 2500 pounds, not over 3300.

Pros: Looks, 5 doors, AWD

Cons: the weight and the 5mpg less fuel economy

Subie Savvy — Acceleration isn't all that great but definitely isn't bad, could definitely be fixed with the WRX instead but I didn't have the money. Exterior has some solid styling I really like it. The car is fun to drive and gets great gas mileage. The payments are very low as well.

Pros: MPG

Cons: Lack of power

2.5i Test Drive — I test drove this car in the 5 speed model. The clutch although brand new, is rediculously soft and the shifter has virtually no feel to it when going in/out of gears. Braking and handling is on par with most semi-sports cars in its class. I personally feel the redesign has made the Impreza much less boy racer and more legitimate sedan. This goes also for the WRX and STI. Interior was beige and kind of blah for my taste but everything inside seemed pretty solid.

Pros: AWD

Cons: Styling, interior colors, transmission/clutch

N/a Impreza — Perfromance - acceleration isn't bad for a N/A car of its weight, braking feels confident and stopping distances are about average, handling is somewhat lacking exsesive body role and slight understeer. Appearance not bad kinda bland and understated Fun factor, fun within its limits at the edge of them it gets alittle hairy if unskilled.

Pros: AWD, cargo space

Cons: handling

My New Subaru — I like this car, just got it. The initial quality is good, everything feels solid and purposeful. I like how there is no clutter. The performance, speed:well i don't know yet I'm still breaking it in so i must resist the 170 horses and keep em in their stables a bit longer. Braking: seems good haven't gotten a chance to test it. Handling: this thing is a beauty around corners at normal speed, the car stay flat and stable, it also has a great turning radius.

Pros: good solid car

Cons: style
