"Awesome leg room!"
Would Buy Ranked 2008 Acura TSX worse.
"While Acura is supposed to be better, that is not the case here. The TSX is the kid that tries, the Accord is the veteran that performs."

Good — I like Honda Accord in general. All the features are great, its affordable luxury car. I never had any problems with this car. It has a great gas milage and is very reliable. If I had to get a new car it would be 2015 Honda Accord.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Spacious interior, great gas milage, reliable.

Cons: Its winter so heated seat would be nice!

Overall Great Value — The brakes squeak, Honda would not do anything and we replaced on our own. The leather seat material is marginal, Honda said nothing they could do. However, we lover the power, handling, styling and comfort. Although there are some things we had issues with overall it is a very solid car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very smooth power, and plenty of it.  Handles great for a family sedan.

Cons: The brakes squeak, and the originals did not last long.  The ECO mode is not smooth when driving at 35 to 40 mph.  The leather material does not live up to the Honda quality.

Power, Luxury, Comfort And Full Value For Money, All At The Same Time — Maintenance is cheap and fuel economy is good despite being 6 cylinder. Its a beautiful car overall except shocks. Unfortunately I drove classic Buick and that ruined it all. If you drive this car with patience, you will be on Eco mode most of the time which means better fuel economy. I am never happy with any car in terms of blind spots but that is just me.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Comfortable and at the same time powerful ride. Very spacious. Up till 90/100 miles per hour it runs totally under control but beyond that fear creeps in. So far I have am getting good miles/gallon. Most mechanics know their way around this car so it was convenient to take this car to the repair shop down the street.

Cons: Shocks in comparison with American brands such as old Buick are not that great. After experimenting I realized that when I play MP3, the music system sounds way better than it sounds on radio.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Sporty Looking Communter — Very disappointed int he maintenance and reliability as we had to replace breaks three times prior to 90,000. We purchased the car because we were hoping the cost for repair and need for repair were suppose to be minimal. However, the pick up on with just a four cylinder engine is remarkably a surprise, especially when you need the pick up on the freeway in Chicago traffic.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks good, adequate gas mileage, sporty looking, good pick up for a 4 banger.

Cons: stiff seats, riding in the back is not fun.

We've Owned 5 Hondas — Still up in the air on this car. Other then the brakes, it's a fairly reliable car. The only other issue is the airfoil on the lower front part of the bumper. The clearance is very low. My wife took it to work and when parking the car in her parking lot, caught the bumper on a cement bumper and tore the bumper cover. $400-$500 for a repair.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks/ride

Cons: Brakes are a joke.  Had to have brake pads replaced @ 18,000 miles and we were advised by Honda that this was normal?    Yea right.

Old Man Car — If you are in need of a simple, mostly reliable transportation from A to B, the 8th gen Accord is perfect for you. If you like your vehicle to have some soul, look elsewhere. Comfy ride, great mpgs, decent power, lots of space.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of space, simple maintenance, having a manual trans

Cons: It floats and rolls in the corners in stock form, and it was made to be big.

Honda Ex-l V6 W/ Inspire Pkg Is Riding Royalty! — The long standing reliability of the Honda Accord speaks for itself. But, the new body style introduced in 2008 coupled with leather, heated seats and sunroof on its EX-L trim makes its appearance as strong as its reliability. The Inspire Package only adds to the car's beauty. Once again, Honda has delivered a good car...that looks great!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Appearance, reliability and resale value.

Cons: Sometimes parts for Honda's can be a little pricey.

Reliable, Roomy, Sharp But Not Snobby. — I've enjoyed my 2008 EX quite a bit. It has much nicer styling than the previous generation, very comfortable seats with power lumbar support for the driver, and a smooth ride. Everyone who rides in the car compliments me on it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very family-friendly, nice pick up for a 4 cylinder, sharp lines.

Cons: Brakes tend to wear down a bit early.
