The 2008 Sport trac Adrenalin V8 is a great little city truck. Small enough for my wife to feel comfortable driving and parking. Lots of power, comfortable with Front and rear independent suspension. Brakes are very good. Steering is concise . The cabin is quite easy to read gauges. If you can find one that is rust free with low miles they are worth it.

Hmmm...nice! — This vehicle was a great one. It hit a moose and they put it right back on the road and I drove it 15,000 more miles before I traded it for the 2010 Fusion. Mileage was decent as long as I stayed on the highway. Greatest observed was 24 MPG, worst was 10 MPG.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Heated Leather seats!

Cons: It hit a Moose

Loved It! — Absolutely loved this vehicle. Had watertight compartments recessed into the bed for storage, a hard watertight bed cover that covered the whole thing. Even a cigarette lighter power point in the bed. Microsoft Sync is awesome. Seamlessly shifting Auto 4x4 that you couldnt even feel when it shifts and traction control with roll stability control make it a very safe on icy roads. Independent suspension means that you hardly even feel all the washboard bumps on gravel roads.

Pros: Awesome vehicle with lots of built in technology

Cons: none

Great Versatile Truck With Stylish Looks And A Comfortatable Ride. — I have had this ruck for over a year now. Other than it's great looks, it has a smooth and quiet ride. The interior is comfortable and well layed out. Some people do not like the door pulls but I think they are unique and stylish. The V8 is not quite what the concept is but with some upgrades it's showing great potential. Over all I rate this a 10

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Comfortable and quite ride, V8 power, Nice curb appeal

Cons: The should have put a supercharger on it

2008 Explorer Sport Trac 4.0 2wd — The 4.0 lacks a little in passing power, but has enough torque for most off-roading and light towing. The truck responds well to ECU and exhaust upgrades. Ground clearance is as good as most mid-size pickups, but I'm adding a 2.5" suspension lift for more height. The interior is phenomenal, far, FAR superior to any other mid-size. Lots of neat features and cargo room are a plus.

Pros: Interior, Standard & Available Features, Overall Design

Cons: V6 is a little weak, fuel economy could be much better

Ford Adrenalin — badass truck. mine is red and all wheel drive.. it has all the features that you dont need but are still nice to have. runs ok. could be better.. im looking into o roush supercharger and intake kits as well as exhaust and upgrading the 20 inch wheels to 22s or better. it is absolutely gorgeous the bodykit is sick. the black interior is awesome. cost is a little high at 35,000 all the way up through 40. it is a very well built truck for those who dont need a heavy duty truck but somethin just to haul the occasional lowes trip. great truck/suv

Pros: body, looks, capability

Cons: weak sound system, not as much power as wished

Test Drive — This is another truck that my dad got to drive for his company. It is pretty fast and has the new built in sync which is so much fun to use. One bad thing about it is the suspension is really stiff for a truck.

Pros: SYNC

Cons: stiff suspension

"Nicer ride. More interior space. Basically an SUV with a box. Good people hauler with decent off road capability and good towing power. It is a nicer looking interior than the Nissan."
Would Buy Ranked 2008 Nissan Frontier LE Crew Cab 4WD worse.
"More refined car. Interior is nicer and the overall exterior is better looking. Get the V-8. The Nissan Frontier is a more powerful V-6 than Fords 4.0 L V-6. If you are looking for something to do a lot of hauling in the box, then go with the Frontier. For more of a town truck with good towing capacity, go with the Ford Explorer Sport Track. Ford was reall stupid to drop this concept. They are coming out with a new mid-size ranger. Only took them 7 years to figure out what a dumb mistake they made dropping this size of truck"
