Quick, Fast, Great Fuel Economy And Family Friendly — I purchased the car because my daily driver at the time was over powered and had horrible fuel economy. My two door coupe was not family friendly. I wanted a European car. We also had a brand new Audi TT at the time and even though the BMW was a few years older the trim, controls and ascetics were much more durable and built with quality. I'd recommend BMW over Audi any day. The 335i was just what I needed to feed my need for a sporty ride. It carves corners perfectly at high speeds and rides super smooth. It's got some nice top end and the turbo's are good enough to give you a little feeling of boost. This car will dyno in over 350HP with just a plug and play chip. Great ride! My future car will be the M4. I like the turbo over the M3's super charger much better.

Pros: Super quick and agile car.

Cons: I cant think of any. I've owned and driven in a lot of nice cars and so far this car has been the bomb!

Very Nice And Fun Car To Drive. — Love my BMW. I feel very safe driving my car and with the BMW free maintenance and towing program I save money on oil changes and routine maintenance. The car accelerates smoothly when entering the highway and overall braking and handling is excellent.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fun car to drive

Cons: Expensive to maintain

Bmw 335i — This car is phenomenal and provides that true BMW driving experience. This car provides a great deal of torque which is consistent from the high 1k to high 5k rpm range. This car has virtually no turbo lag and is an amazing piece of machinery to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Rated one of the best engines a few years in a row.  The 335i was the first intro for BMW into the turbo market, winning numerous accolades on engine design.  Handling is just amazing on this car and is tons of fun to drive.

Cons: Not a family car.

Best Everyday Car If You Can't Fit Everything In Your Porsche — If you have to carry things or folks that just can't fit in your Porsche, then this is the car for you. The 2008 328ix touring (small wagon) was the last of the six's, with power, fit and finish that you look for from BMW. It is the same size as the other 3 Series sedans, but in the wagon style it has more load room than BMW's X3 . Above all it is a real 328ix with all wheel drive, style, comfort, good gas mileage, safety and performance !

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It is a BMW 3 Series

Cons: None that I can think of !

Ultimate Driving Machine!!! — Nothing to really dislike about the car. It is a great looking car, with great acceleration and great looks. Roomy for me as I am only 5' 7" but I guess most cars would be roomy for me!! Lol. Really enjoy driving it and get compliments on it all the time. Limited rear seating but not may back seat riders these days!! Overall a great car!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything you expect from a BMW.  Great handling, acceleration and looks!!!

Cons: No up to date technological features!! No navigation!!

Sporty, Quick And Stylish — After owning for 6 years and 120,000k miles, absolutely still love this car. The amount of torque these motors make down low is phenomenal. Averaging 20mpg is great too! BMW out did themselves with the N54 335i. Love this car!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Tons of torque

Cons: Fly through gas!

335xi —

This is a driver's car, and while I have rated it average in some aspects, let's remember that those ratings would only hold true compared to the average car. In other words, this wasn't designed to be a cost efficient family car. It's a thoroughbred sports car. So the only stuff that matters is what it does well that a sports car should, everything else is a bonus. Superb on gas btw, if you feel like just cruising on the highway at around 60 mph, I have seen consumption as good as 38 mpg for a trip. I did a 50 mile drive once just cruising, slapped it into 6th and let it go at just around 60. Extremely enjoyable because of how well it settles on the road, mind you, it is a stiff ride and is not comfortable in the city. Again, it's got the features of a thoroughbred sports car, so don't compare it to your camry or heck don't even compare it it's sedan counterpart, because the only thing the two share are the name. Their purposes and parts other than (barring the engine, gearbox etc.) are completely different, which is sort of why now BMW decided to slash out the 3 coupe and just call it the 4. Maintenance is painful, it's German and everything about it is expensive. Spark plugs set me back 350 dollars. You get the idea. Overall, if you want driving reward, close your eyes and buy one. If you have other things that matter just as much, test drive it a couple of times, you may just end up with the sedan, definitely wouldn't recommend this for anyone seating more than 2 adults all the time. The backseats are good compared to other coupes, but unless everyone in your family is young and under 5'10.. things get tight.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Power, handling, general driving abilities and feel

Cons: price, maintenance

Fantastic Bmw!! — Very clean car that handles wonderfully and I can be confidant that it is a very safe vehicle for my family. The interior is definitely driver friendly -- great German engineering. The speed and agility is always on par with the best of the best.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The handling is amazing.

Cons: None.
