2007 Volkswagen Rabbit 4-DoorReview

2007 Volkswagen Rabbit — This car is pretty solidly built. It has the 2.5L inline five, also used by the Jetta. The engine produces 150hp and 170 ft.-lbs. of torque. It is decently quick with a 0-60 time of 7.9. With the help of a Cold Air Intake the power can be bumped up to around 160hp. The CAI also inproves the fuel efficiency and engine noise. Handles great. Owner for 0 years, 7 months Miles Driven per Year:10,000 Pros: Whiny Engine Noise, weak on power. Cons: German Precision, great handling, fun to drive. ![]() Looking for a Used Rabbit in your area?CarGurus has 78 nationwide Rabbit listings starting at $2,000. |

2 Months And Loving It! — After having a '97 Honda CR-V, this car just zooms! In my test drive, I almost thought I was driving my wife's IS300. Nicely put together (so far!) and feels solid. My wife thought I was crazy zeroing on just this car but she's been won over with it. It been 20+ years since my '84 GTI and this brings back alot of fond and fun memories! Pros: full-sized spare (I get alot of flats) Cons: alittle loud. wipers do not fold away from the windshield. gas fills on passenger side. |

Excellent Car Exceeding All My Expectations — After almost 100,000 miles I still don't have almost any complaints regarding this car. Engine, brakes and steering are great. I have done all the regular maintenance schedules and repairs at VW dealerships and they were very resonably priced, honest and never tried to upsell anything or charge for unecesarry repairs. Unbelievably, the only things I've had to change during the past 100,000 miles were tires, a couple of light bulbs and the battery. Everything still feels as tight as when I bought it. I suspect I will never have a better and more reliable car after this one. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Very reliable and fun car to drive Cons: Somewhat noisy engine |

Sporty And Practical Car — Great car! Amazing handling with the Koni Yellows and H&R springs. Excellent interior and very high quality for the price. Also a super reliable ride; I've had the car for 2 years (it was 1 year old when I bought it) and has not had a single problem. I get around 27 mpg on average, which includes highway and city driving, and the car still does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and goes up to 140 mph... not bad (with APR software and Neuspeed Air Intake which increase BHP to about 175). Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great handling (with lowered suspension) Cons: Some minor rattles (because of firmer ride) |
