Heavy Duty, Well Built Fun Off Roading — I liked it's size and reliability! It is well built. In the backcountry, i knew this car could handle any road condition i wanted to go on. It is more comfortable and handles better on main roads than a JEEP.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Well built, good style, fanastic for off-roading, fun to drive

Cons: Visibility is limited, but the big mirrors help with the blind spots. Premium gas and low gas mileage.

Great Off Road Car, — This is a "must have" car for someone that wants to travel outback! When I was on dirt roads and wanted to away: i felt safe and secure. I like tha way the back doors opened up when camping, it gave good access to front and back.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: A FANTASTIC OFF ROAD CAR, very reliable, fun to drive, very popular style, more comfortable than a JEEP, handles better on highway than JEEP, super well built

Cons: limited visibility, requires premium fuel

Great Runabout For Weekend Adventures — If you are looking for something fun and reliable, then look no further. The FJ retro look coupled with modern convenience is the car for you. Toyota solid build reputation calls for fuss-free motoring with low cost maintenance. Ideal for weekend adventures!!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great rugged and retro look.
    Spacious interior space.
Toyota reliability and solid build reputation.
    Unique rear opening doors.
Oversized door handles and knobs for glove operation.

Cons: Blind spot when reversing which can be overcome with reverse sensors (installed) and mirror adjustments.
Not the most optimised fuel economy but amongst the best for SUV.

A Great Vehicle For Work And Play. — The V6 is peppy and the handling is good. The rugged design allows for off road even if it's only occasional. The quality is there as one would expect from Toyota. The gas mileage is good for an SUV and it is nice to sit up high as you drive for a better view in traffic. The cargo rack on the top is useful and the towing package makes it a good light work vehicle.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: This SUV has great styling and is a lot of fun to drive.  It has excellent cargo space and the back seat is surprisingly spacious.

Cons: The main challenge for this vehicle is visibility out the back.  This is helped by adding additional mirrors to the side mirrors but you have to be a observant driver in this vehicle.

Toyota Fj 4x4 — I was one of the first to purchase the newly designed 2007 FJ's and I love it. It's totally outstanding in reliability and serious 4x4 conditions. It's a simple design, but it was specifically designed for folks who know what it takes to make a rock solid off road vehicle. The mileage is low teens, but the fun factor beats the low MPG any day of the week. I also own a Prius, so go figure.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Best 4x4 for the money

Cons: Blind spot on the sides, but not to worry if you know how to use a side mirror.

5 Stars — This has been my best vehicle so far. Very dependable, solid performance across the board. Would buy another for sure! Just wish it was a bit longer and had 4 doors. The practicality of the flooring which seem like a small detail, but if you have muddy boots you will appreciate how it cleans up quickly.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliability has been outstanding with the exception of a rear wheel bearing issue. Other than that I got 95k out of my original brakes and 85k out of my second set of tire with a proper rotation schedule.

Cons: Blind spot and not a true 4 door vehicle

Reliable, Comfortable, Fun Ride. — I was just about the first kid on the block with one of these when they came out and I don't have any regrets about buying or running the wheels off it, or trying, over the past almost 7 years. Routine maintenance, a battery and brake pads, that's all it's taken. A/c even still blows cold. Can't fault this little wagon for much.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Rock solid reliability, good balance of power and gearing.  Very comfortable front seats

Cons: Back seat is pretty much a joke.

Enjoyable And Fun Ride That Shines Off Road — I will follow up after I have owned the vehicle for more than two weeks, thus far it has been a fun ride and has been surprisingly comfortable. The blind spot comments I observed in the reviews and online searches I believe are overstated. If you have driven a SUV or full size truck previously using your mirrors and in my model the parking sensor addresses those concerns. More to come...

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Styling, ride comfort, visibility and reliability

Cons: Gas mileage (comes with this class of vehicle),

I Love This Car — set aside the gas mileage, which is a nominal factor when it comes to driving a car that you truly enjoy. This vehicle is definitely a joy car. what I love about this car is while I'm on the road, I set up high and sees over on top of the cars in front of me. Oh, best of all is that it has no carpet flooring, easy to clean, and you never have to worry about spillage on the floor mat, it's water resistant. cargo space is also a plus, I can see why this vehicle is one of the highest demanding ride on the road.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Look and feel = high energy, powerful, and trendy.

    Cons: Gas mileage

Great 4x4 — The driver's seat seem a little loose in its mounts. I've seen a number of complaints about this on the web. The vehicle is very tough and reliable. Having to put premium in it is somewhat costly, but it runs well and has plenty of get up and go.

Pros: Looks great, fun to drive, great traction, and safe.

Cons: Vertical windshield grabs lots of bugs in the summer.  The visor seems too far away and is not useful when turned to the side.  The back seats are a little claustrophobic.
