Dog Mover/grocery Getter — For the right kind of buyer, the Subaru Impreza SE can be an excellent choice among compact cars. The AWD system provides extra traction in slippery conditions, excellent handling, and offers a high degree of versatility and performance. It is a true drivers car. Pros: Great handling, good cargo capacity and a large tailgate opening Cons: ??? still working on this one :) ![]() Looking for a Used Impreza in your area?CarGurus has 5,904 nationwide Impreza listings starting at $3,495. |

A Great Car For People Who Want Fun On A Budget — Overall this is a good car. The ride is pretty good given the mud and snow tires and the suspension doesa good job at soaking up alot of the bumps. The steering is a little heavy at lower speeds but as u get faster its becomes pretty light and responsive. The engine has enough power to keep u entertained but don't try to many drag races becuase you'll probdably wont win. The best Part without a doubt is the awd. U can drive this car in just about any kind of weather and still have good control. Also in the winter with the awd u can pull some pretty nice drifts with this thing. Pros: awd,handling,steering,exhaust note Cons: mpg,slower than expected,pricey to insure |

Younger Brother Of The Wrx — I previously owned a red 2005 Impreza 2.5 RS Sedan. Although I loved that car, this model is slightly better. The body looks more like a racer, rims are cooler in my opinion, and this time I was able to get a spoiler. Also the engine is slightly more powerful and I can now plug in my MP3. On top of that I have a moon roof. Although it's a lease I think I may keep this car for a very long time, it's worth it. But if I had the money I would definitely get a WRX.
Pros:
* All-wheel drive(especially useful in the snow)
Cons:
* Not a WRX |

The Driving Enthusiast's Car — It's fun and versatile. There's plenty of interior space and features to please any one. Heated seats. Amazing sound system. The overall performance really kicks, you become one with the horses (approx 173 hp if you can). AWD in the winter is a dream. The sport suspension is an added bonus and handles well even during most demanding driving conditions ie. Montreal roads all year round. Pros: It's the Impreza 2.5 Special Edition Cons: It's not the WRX STI, 293 hp barely street legal |

Great Daily Driver For Year Round — I like the car, the handling is great in winter an summer as well. the AWD system is awesome for winter months an the heated seats that come with the SE package work beautifully. The car is also nice on the highway an gives a feel of great traction through corners an in wet condition's. Im happy with it as far as an everyday ride but i do still wish i had the extra pony's of the wrx model. Pros: AWD!!!, heated seats, great handling, sexy as hell. Cons: it's not a wrx. |

Sensible Version For Day To Day Use. — As I have a round trip of 140Kms to work everyday and I have a heavy right foot I opted for the 2.0i version rather than the turbo versions. Love the car, the looks are great, the handling is awesome. Pity Subaru have chosen to go down the standard 3/5 door hatch route now though! Pros: Handling Cons: The stupid "bright" switch that raises or lowers the intensity of the clock! |

An Amazing, All-wheel-drive Beauty. — I've owned many cars over my driving life, and have not had one that handled better that wasn't a sportscar. This includes two BMW coupes! The motor is torquey, the engine makes manly grunting sounds, and it's reliable and clean. The interior is a little dull but functional, and really, really clean. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: This car steers telepathically - it's quick and capable. The motor is torquey and beautifully balanced, and wants to rev to the moon. For an all-wheel-drive vehicle, the car gets great mileage; I am getting 27 mpg in town! Cons: It's a little small for putting folks in the back seats. Room in the rear is a touch less than I'd hoped for. |

Favorite car Ive ever driven. The AWD helped with the power and handling immensely. I totalled mine after hitting black ice and going head on into a guard rail at 65mph. Safety features worked perfectly. Airbags didnt even deploy and I didnt have a single mark on me. If I didnt need the cargo room, I would have looked for another one. Highly recommend as a first car. vs2007 Pontiac G6
