Great All-around Car; Good Looks, Great Performance, Good Value — The Scion tC is a fun car that's sure to get attention anywhere you go. It is a great car, reliable with good looks and excellent performance for the price. Pros: Moderately priced, great performance, many normally optional items are standard, including a moonroof, highly customizable Cons: Many people have tC's, not the best performance car, all glass roof can be worrying sometimes ![]() Looking for a Used tC in your area?CarGurus has 870 nationwide tC listings starting at $2,450. |

An Awesome First Car! — As my first car, I definitely appreciate it and take care of it as much as possible. It is great because there is plenty of parts I can add on to it and would like to in the future. This is a great 4 cylinder young driver car. Pros: Sporty look, Great options, Plenty after-market parts, Good MPG Cons: It could be a 6 cylinder |

I Miss This Car — I don't know much about mechanics, so perhaps I'm not the best to judge a car's performance, but I felt like I could feel every single bump in the road. The design from outside in, I thought was beautiful. I really enjoyed having an MP3 player (factory) to jam out to. I remember driving through downtown Atlanta one morning around 3AM with every window down, going 80mph on the empty 75/85 interstate with the music blaring, thinking: I really love this car. =D Pros: I'll steal a Ford advertisement: "Nice MPG, Nice MP3s" Cons: Felt too much of the road. |

Very Faaaast! — Toyota did a great job with the tC. Using the 2.4lt Camery motor was a firm base to build the car on. Boost very well with what ever you want to put in it, turbo or nitrous. Clutch need to be upgraded though if your going to boost over 40hp Pros: the sleek clean design is awesome. The designers modeled the center console after a water fall, and it turned out well Cons: blind spot in the two rear pillars |

Mechanically Sound, But Lacking In Fit-and-finish. — Overall, a solid car. Considering the things that matter, it is both reliable and consistent. However, the smaller things are not as worry-free. For instance, the iPod connection with the upgraded head unit is a bit hit-or-miss. Occasionally the connection will simply cease functioning properly for no apparent reason. Also, the plastic ring around the shift lever is not totally attached it would seem, and it's the same for the plastic piece on the right side of the steering wheel. They are small issues, and easily forgotten about, but they are nagging at first. It isn't an overly fast or agile car, but it is more than adequate for everyday driving. For a real performance enthusiast however, it would require extensive upgrades to get this car up to snuff. By and large, for the average driver, it is a sound vehicle that would offer largely worry-free driving for quite some time. Pros: Very attractive styling. Reliable, mechanically. Adequate acceleration/handling. Multitude of options. Very intuitive and easy to use controls. Cons: Most options are purely cosmetic. Certain unimportant plastic pieces on interior not applied/installed properly. Numb steering feel. |

Fast For A 4 Cylinder — quick for a 4 cylinder, a little too much body roll in the corners, great braking and acceleration, little back cargo area, great leg room for a two door Pros: quick and nice interior, lots of performance parts available Cons: too much body roll, limited cargo space |
