2007 Porsche 911 Turbo AWD Review

Awesome!!! — The new Porsche Turbo is Awesome! This is my first Porsche and it is going to be hard to drive any other car. The car is so powerful it has one word associated with it - RESPECT. The handling is superb, especially through corners and at high speeds. The surprising thing about this car is how comfortable it is to drive at "normal" speeds or on long trip. It is a pleasure for city driving and weekend trips of a couple hundred miles. The interior is surprisingly spacious. At 6'3" I thought I may be cramped in such a sports car, but their is plenty of leg room and 4 inches of head room. Idling, the car purrs like a lion, accelerating it roars like a tiger, stopping it grips the road like a tank. The car is everything I imagined and more -- I LOVE it!

    Pros: Superb handling
    Amazing speed
    All wheel drive
A super car which exudes class

Cons: No spare tire - but no super car has one:)
    Limited trunk space

Clearly, There Is No Substitute. — Love this car. I drive it every day and can take it to the track or autocross on the weekends. I had a Corvette Z06 (505 hp) owner ask me if I had about 480 hp and I had to disappoint him that it is only 355. I can drive it on a 10 hour trip without fatigue. Every mile driven is an enjoyable experience. Porsche's are expensive to buy and maintain but, if you keep up with the maintenance, they will last forever. Everything on the car is top notch quality with German over- engineering.

Pros: The best combination of performance, style, quality and reliability. A legendary marque that is always fun to drive.

Cons: I wish I could drive as good as this car is. At least, I will keep trying and enjoying.

Power Ranked 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe better.
"The car is lighter (Aluminium body) and the V8 engine is a quad cam, 32 valve 380hp with 302 torque."
Handling Ranked 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe better.
"The vantage is perfectly balanced with a 49/51 weight distribution (engine to trans-axle)"
Front Seats Ranked 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe better.
"Extremely comfortable, supportive seats that marries form and function and makes you feel one with the car. I found the 911 seats not as comfortable on long trips."
Back Seats Ranked 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe worse.
"More in cabin storage area, small children can be seated."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe better.
"The hatchback on the AM Vantage has significantly more storage area under the hatch and behind the front seats."
Family Car Ranked 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe worse.
"Really, just a toss up because of the small rear seats. Neither is really a family car."
Value Ranked 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe better.
"Power, balance, base cost, more smiles per miles...and the greatest exhaust note of any super car Ive driven or heard!"

"See the answer to the value question, then add in the aggressive design."

I have owned M6's and and M3. I have also owned a 2008 911 Porsche Turbo Cab and this car compares to the Turbo, and is better than the M6, M3.
