Love My Elantra — Excellent car for the price. Comfortable and very fuel efficient. Great on the highway. Looks stylish - much bigger than previous Elantras. I would definitely buy another Hyundai (hoping to have enough for a Sonata someday). Not a sporty car, but still fun to drive, and practical too. No problems at all yet.

Pros: Roomy, great mileage, comfy

Cons: A bit boring for a former Celica owner

Hyundai Elantra — The best value in its class.Solid build quality, reliable, safe great warranty, very good gas miliage, everything i need in a car and then some.Thoughtful details other companies cheap out on.If this car isnt on someones list for a compact car, then clearly they haven't done their homework.i would definitely reccomend this car to family and friends alike.

Pros: Ride,handling,safety,style,reliability,feature content,build quality,value,warranty.

Cons: its not a hatchback, but one is on the way.

Mom's Car — The steering wheel feels a little more loose compared to other cars I've driven but it feels good. The brake and gas are the perfect sensitivity and the sound system is nice.

Pros: What I mentioned above.

Cons: I cant really think of any.  I guess that it is not mine...

The First Car That I've Ever Paid For And Insured. — Lots of features including a few that the Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic don't offer. More features are standard on the Elantra SE than Corolla or Civic. Plus, the Elantra SE costs less than a less-equipped Corolla LE or Civic. Take a look at the Pros and Cons for more detail.

Pros: Everything listed is an Elantra SE Standard Feature: 26 MPG, Above-average power, Roomy All Around, Fast electric-motorized steering, Tilting/Telescoping Steering Column, Steering wheel-mounted Audio controls, Cruise control, Good Six-speaker audio system, Audio Aux Input, XM radio, Eight airbags, ABS, 16-inch 5-Spoke Aluminum Alloy wheels, Four wheel Independent Suspension, Four wheel Disc brakes, Heated side-mirrors, Power Mirrors and Windows, Fog Lights, Front and Back AC/Heating, Lighted Vanity mirrors and Glove box, Hyundai's warranties, and I think that's about it.

Cons: Engine becomes excessively loud around mid RPM (3500 RPM). Honestly, this seems to be the only problem.

Great Size And Power For The Money — I bought this car 5 months ago and i like it. its a nice and more sophisticated looking than my previous car. It has anough room when I go out with my friends, everyone is comfortable.the arm rest with the cup holders is a nice touch in my opinion (even though i dont let anyone eat or drink in my car yet lol). Overall, i give this 3rd generation Elantra 9 out of 10.

Pros: Cant beat the price for the features, exceptional warrantee, comfortable and easy to see while driving.

Cons: Some features would be nice if available; Bluetooth, power seats, navigation, and a little more storage.

Transmission For Manual Is Smooth, Excellant All Around Vehicle, Gas Mileage As Per Rating. — A beautiful car to drive, the manual transmission is smooth and effortless. Very quite interior during normal driving. The steering is a little loose during hard braking and in sharp turns. Overall I would recommend the Elantra to anyone looking for value for their dollar. The only concern is the long term durability of the vehicle. I guess I will find out in a few years.

Owner for 0 years, 1 months

Miles Driven per Year:45,000

Pros: Many additional features compared to Corolla, Lancer, better gas mileage than the Lancer.

Cons: Long term durability??
