My Bimmer — I love my Bimmer, it is fuel efficient give 23mpg combined. This year model produce 255hp which is more than enough in US where law prohibits street racing, but if you get newer model you can get upto 300hp with twin turbo which is much faster. Fun Factor is if you get this car with proper packages you would love it when seats hugs the driver/ passenger when they put on their seat belts. Quality of car and ride is sporty - i have driven this car at really high speed and have enjoyed. Must get it with ACTIVE Steering package. you would love every corner you make in your life there onward :)

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice looks, sporty drive, no lag when pushed from one gear to another, great handling, extra bucketed seats,

Cons: iDrive sucks - and navigation system lack alot of informative functions and cost $1800-- it's better to buy TOMTOM or anyother portable navigation system which will cost cheaper too.

Wouldn't Recommend It For People Who Get Annoyed Really Easy — This car has its up and downs starting off with the IDRIVE system, most car magazines say that its a pain in the arse to use it there is about 11 different settings for the gears to change you can have it to fast shift or just to use it normally but then there are 9 other ones that most BMW owners have no clue about. Another problem with the usage of the car is that wen u turn and use the indicator to go left you have to switch it off after your done turning but the problem is that it will not turn off it will just indicate to the right, There last bad point about the car is that when u switch it to the Steptronic mode and your one of those drivers who take the streets as a racing track you will find that when u change gears at a high speed the car will jerk or u need change it twice to get to the next gear. Well lets get to the good bits of the car starting off with the performance it has a hell of a lot of power for a 6 cylinder but and it also comes cheap when refueling it, the price will cost you around 70-80 AU dollars a week to run ( depends on the distance of travel). So i would recommend this to an easy going person who enjoy a relaxing drive on a sunday,This car is also good with the kids because there is an option of a overhead DVD player. Not much P-Plate drivers have this car but if your one of those generation Y people that does well in school or has a good job this car is for you because of the engine not reaching the illegal limit of having a high performance V6, this car is loaded with options for the young ones with the sunroof sports leather seats and the most important one is having a BMW on your p's

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: performance is amazing for a 6 cylinder

Cons: IDRIVE is a nightmare to use

Anything Car — awesome, great performance, the break horse power reaches to about 300 hp, and the acceleration is really good... maybe 0 - 60 miles in 7 seconds. Has a screen inside so it makes it look cooler. And the spacing inside is very good also the look too.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: performance

    Cons: Nothing

Bmw 5 Series — The 5 series is supremely agile, offers oodles of fun for the driver, the torquey diesel motor is amazingly refined with generates a lenier power output yet very frugal. Top marks for handling, build quality and ergonomics. The ride is a bit stiff - suspect the run flat tyres.

Pros: Rocket of a diesel motor, Sharp Steering, great dynamics, fun to drive, fuel efficient, Build quality

Cons: Slightly stiff ride, equiptment and optionals could have been better, rear seat could use a bigger green house

My Bmw 550i — The acceleration is amazing and I can take corners that say 30 mph at 80mph! Most people say that the iDrive is horrible and hard to work, but i think it's easier to work than a regular computer! The gas mielage isn't all that horrible but it's decent when you consider that it's a V8. I would totally recommend this car to ANYONE.

    Pros: handling, speed, performance

Cons: doesn't handle as well over bumps

Bmw's Executive. — Bibically comfortable, incredibly great to drive, and you'll only run over 5 million people before you've realized that you reak havoc; only because the car is so quiet. Great commuter car, but unfortunately the mileage is pathetic. If you want a car with good mileage, go be a honda driver somewhere else. This is for the big guys who appreciates a good sunday drive. BMW sheer power. Dynamic Drive is unsuprassed. Bayersche Motoren Werke. Fahren am Fahren.

    Pros: Quiet, Dynamic, Sheer BMW

    Cons: Gas Mileage, Price

Bmw 520d Se Touring - New Engine. — The 520d SE Touring has performed well over the past 4 months since it was bought new. Performance wise, the 2 litre diesel has plenty of power (173bhp); easily enough for overtaking on the A roads. Acceleration feels slightly laggy up to 50mph, but 50+ it really purrs along nicely. Infact, the 520d has a faster 50-70 time than the 530i, a 3 litre petrol version. What really attracted me to this car though is the quoted 53mpg - about 8 better than the Audi equivalent, and miles better than the E-Class's quoted 39mpg!! Actual figures hit 48mpg on standard driving. Build quality is solid, and equipment levels are excellent for the standard car. However, beware because the options list can really bump up the price. I definitely prefer the looks of the Touring than the Saloon, but it still isn't everyone's cup of tea. The inside is spacious ad compfy, even without leather/comfort seats etc. Boot space isn't as big as its Audi or Mercedes equivalents, but still fine for a family holiday. Driving position exceedingly comfotable, and very roomy. I-drive isn't brilliant, but does the job - even though it feels it was designed to do a lot more than the features I paid for! Overall, 5 stars. I don't think there's a better large estate on the market. Very relaxed driving, not exciting but actually quite fast. Happiest at 90 down the motorway, which can be an issue as it's so smooth you don't notice it!

Pros: Smooth motorway driving, fantastic economy/performance ratio, roomy, solid build quality

Cons: Not a town car, slower acceleration from 0, styling possibly an issue

Another Bloody Bmw On Our Roads — Sarah`s car. I hate it,, she loves it therefor I don`t drive it that much. Typical Beemer. THE most confusing entertainment/nav system in the world. A steering wheel that is offset from the central driving position. It goes reasonably well, it`s good on fuel and it looks the mutts nutts.

Pros: Looks stunning in blue with the full m tech kit on.

Cons: too many tossers drive BM`s now
