Great Truck — performance is great no complaints appearance great as long as you can keep it clean... lol fun factor great.... cost of ownership is ok not the best but not the worst.... Build quality is good except for the wind noise on the interstate

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: love it

Cons: the wind noise

Best Truck I Have Owned. — My Tundra is probably the best Truck I have owned. I have over 154,000 miles on it already and no problems yet. You cannot beat the reliability of Toyota vehicles - Don't listen to the media and the witch hunts of Toyota - they are one of the best built cars on the road. The interior space in this model year is good - I spend allot of time in this vehicle and like to drive it. The fuel mileage on my tundra is about 16 mpg - mixed driving - have had 19 mpg best and if all in town driving around 15 mpg. Not bad for a 4X4 that always has stuff in the bed to weight it down.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Quality that is second to none - Toyota has the best trucks in the world

Cons: Only reason I can give to avoid this - wait there is no reason to avoid this truck.

Nothing Beats All The Space I Have For Stuff And People — Awesome flatbed space (even better with a tonneau cover, pretty good mileage for a truck this big (about 17 mpg average), plenty of passenger space (fits 5 big people easy), quiet, and super comfortable. Fun rear electric window. You can haul anything too, lots of torque.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: can put paramotor, paraglider, kites and boards in the back

Cons: nothing really

Toyota Tundra — Sucks on gas but everything else is good. 4x4 is push button on the fly via electric transfer case. Big interior, backseat has plenty of room for 3 people. Rear window slides down. Passenger rear windows slide alllll the way down.

Pros: Strong Engine, Simple Interior

Cons: Lousy Acceleration, Poor Miles Per Gallon

Good Truck — I liked my Tundra but had buyers remorse a week after I bought it. 0% interest inticed me into trading my 4Runner and after a week, I regreted trading. The Tundra was a great truck, too big for my needs though but a good vehicle with solid build quality, comfortable ride, and was as reliable as Toyota's reputation.

Pros: Nice have a truck that could haul stuff and people

Cons: Shouldn't have bought it, didn't like it as much as I like my 4Runner

My Tundra — I absolutely love my truck. The only thing I wish it was better at was making turns. I need a lot of space to make turns!

I Love This Truck. Any Shortcomings Have Been Addressed In 2007. — Solid truck. I work it hard and it handles it well and still cleans up good to go out on the weekend.

Pros: Limited slip rear. V-8 More intior room than my 98 blaser. Awsome system for hooking up an electric brake.

Cons: Almost there but not quite big enough. Needs limited slip in front end.

Nice Truck. Basic, But Nice. — I really like the drive train. The V-6 has more than enough power and the extra gear in the 5 speed automatic does an excellant job of keeping the engine in its power band without lugging or over-revving. The suspension has a very tight, real truck feel that the 3 smaller toyota trucks I have owned did not have. The exterior finish is typical flawless Toyota quality. The interior is very basic. In fact, it is more basic than I had hoped. Flat finished hard plastic dash and trim pieces and cheap looking fuzzy seat cloth material did not impress. Still, I intend to use the truck features just as much if not more than I will use it as personal transportation, so the plain interior should not bother me too much. I could not wear out my other Toyotas so I am confident this one will be no different.

Excellent 3rd Vehicle For Times When You Need A Truck But Want It To Be Comfortable. — Excellent ride quality and reasonable interior noise levels. Roomy and comfortable. Feel "safe" in this vehicle. Overall length can pose a challenge to find parking; Gas mileage not great, but average for full-size double-cab long-wheel base truck..Great styling and workmanship.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Passenger capacity of sedan plus hauling capacity of long-bed truck + excellent towing capacity.  Quiet enough interior with windows up to use speakerphone without other party complaining of noise.  Love the rear window fully lowers; open sunroof and all 4 windows  plus rear window almost like a convertible.  Great looking truck.  Strong V8 engine.  Excellent quality truck.

Cons: Turning radius is horrid.  Gas mileage is average for a truck but not as economical as newer trucks with recent engine innovations.  Long vehicle, so parking can be a challenge.
