Its A Jeep Thing! — I absolutely love my baby! Although the yellow does tend to show the dirt a little more... THATS ALL THE BETTER!

Pros: The top comes down, and I can get it hella dirty

Cons: not enough space sometime

Fun Ride As Long As I'm Not Going On Long Road Trips. — It's a Jeep! not a Cadillac. Bumpy ride, not much power (4 banger), MPG is easy on the wallet, and I really can't get it stuck. Love it.

The 2006 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon Is A Serious Off-road Vehicle — The 2006 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon is a SUV for the serious off-roader. On the down side there are few amenities, no power door locks, windows, and/or key-less entry. The ride is harsh and sometimes jaw pounding - but on the other hand this is the ultimate off-road vehicle. The Jeep Unlimited Rubicon has front and rear locking axels. Since this vehicle does not have a electronic throttle box, the driver controls the spped. The jeep is narrow in width allowing it to be driven in tights corridors and is at home in on rough terrain in inclement weather.

Great — We loved this vehicle. Good for the back and forth to work. Parking in the city was nice because we could squeeze into tighter places. I go camping a lot in remote parts. So it's nice to be able to take the Jeep a little further in.

Pros: 4x4. Fun vehicle to drop all the windows and roof. Good off roading vehicle

Cons: Not great gas mileage

Awesome Jeep — I love the vehicle because it a jeep in it's own class....Not to many on the road here so It's unique in my area. Have seen White Golden Eagles not a Black one like I have.If one is looking for a rugged good looking -running vehicle this it the one for sure

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I have had several jeeps through out the years and went looking for the 2006 Golden Eagle.I have had it for 3 years now and enjoy the hell out of it.It's not only an head-turner but it's a awesome performer here in ohio.Neither ice snow or rain keeps me from venturing out .I feel safer in here then I do in any other 4wd vehicle. The ride is unbelievable.compared to my older ones that I've had.Road noise is down 80% because of the factory tops being tighter. The sound system with a bit of ugrading to the front speakers is fantastic. The interior is also pretty to the eye ....not that dreary sight we all got accustomed to..All in all I would recommend those out there who want a true Super Looking-Rugged jeep this one is it

Cons: The only con is the factory tires on this one....I put a set of KUMO's Snow-Ice Rated and believe me the hum going down the road is almost nill....A bit rough on the gas MPG So far my avg is 18-25 so I'm happy with this

2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Review
Jtc649 says:
Excellent vehicle, never got stuck or broken. Only had to do one easy O2 sensor job once. Bad gas mileage though, and I was always worried about taking the mountain curves too quickly due to the high rollover risk. Unlike other Wranglers though, I never once experienced the 65 mph death rattle that many other talk about.
