Ahead Of Its Time — The interior has a wonderful, sleek, convenient design that has multiple uses and it made with good materials. The appearance is ahead of it's time and the trunk in the bed is a must. The 2 way tailgate is an awesome feature and definitely a quality all trucks should have. Power of a small V8 with the fuel efficiency of a V6 and handles wonderfully in all terrains. Can't wait to own one myself.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great looks, gas saver, interior layout

Cons: Small wheels, should have optional V8

The Best Import Truck On The Market... — Excellent truck.. love the trunk space, easy to haul my drums around and great to hit the trails in also.. Cost of ownership? We've owned it for a year and other than regular mntnc, recently had to replace a blower motor for the AC/Heater.. thats it.. Great performance for a 6 cyl, and of course good gas mileage because of it.. The 4WD works just like it should. Very fun and comfortable to drive.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Ample Seating in the back..  full size adults fit easily, also wide enough to fit 3 child car seats. The Trunk.

Cons: It's not a van...  Only seats 5..

Next Generation Truck — It's a next generation truck. Does everything I need it to do reasonably well, and the build quality and ride is unmatched in its class. It is nothing to brag about mileage wise, but still good for an almost full size truck. As a carpenter, I love the trunk and it makes a great work truck for me with a roof rack.

Pros: Ride, build quality, utilty

Cons: No tilt/telescope steering, body dents easily

Honda Hits One Out Of The Park On Its First Try! —

This vehicle actually belongs under both "Drove" and "Want". Back in about May 2005, when we were still living in Virginia, we went to Koons Honda of Manassas, where we bought our 2004 Odyssey, and test drove a 2006 RTL, green with tan leather. I merely rode shotgun, as I did not have a permit yet, but I loved it! My dad loved it too. We put Bat Out of Hell in the CD player, kicked back, and enjoyed the ride. The ride is incredibly smooth, but the suspension still allows you to feel the road. Handling is responsive for such a large vehicle. The engine is also smooth and unbelievably quiet, offering excellent acceleration. Braking great too. There is plenty of room inside, and the interior fit and finish is great. It also featured an upgraded sound system with a subwoofer. It is still pretty big, however, and the size is not for everyone. Gas mileage also suffers as a result, and the EPA estimate was 16 city and 21 highway. While it is a beautiful vehicle, the looks are a little bit different, and the front end is controversial in some people's opinions. Also affecting the vehicle is the fact it is based on the Honda Pilot. This affects towing and off-road ability. It is a Honda, with their legendary and faithfully reliable 240-250 horsepower 3.5 Liter V6 Vtech engine and a 5-speed automatic tranny. The truck is cheap to maintain. While there are a few negatives, I would still buy this truck anyway. I've seen used ones for under $20,000, which is good deal compared to the $28,000 base price for a new one. One of the most innovative features would have to be the in-bed trunk.

Pros: Honda reliability, value, and handling. Great looks, built solid, roomy interior.

Cons: Steep sticker price (starts at about $28,000 for a base 2009 model today), typical large vehicle gas mileage, supposedly "different" styling.
