The LS is powered by Chevy's 4.8-liter V8, making 285 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Optional here is the 5.3-liter V8, which bumps horsepower to 295 and torque 335 pound-feet. Both power plants are paired with a four-speed automatic equipped with a tow-haul mode.
Chevy's 4x4 system features a push-button Autotrac transfer case, which provides both 2WD and automatic 4WD modes.
