Great For A College Student — I just got mine at 100,000 miles and I love it the fuel economy I great I drive on country roads and city and average about 28 all the time. When I got it I had problems with the engine but the dealer fixed it for free (they just cleaned the throttle body) and my dad fixed the electrical issues I was having (front speakers couldn't decide when to stay on and door lock worked sometimes) now the only thing that is wrong now is my front two speakers are bad (Factory.. lame). I am in no place to judge on reliability or maintenance cost because I have only had it for a short amount of time. All I can do is hope for the best and tell you this is a great car so far and I love it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Love the looks, The interior is appealing, I think the seats are comfortable, The handling is awesome

Cons: Shaky when breaking, feels like a baby car when accelerating, no center armrest, stupid cup holder placement and size, not a lot of places to store stuff

06 Cobalt Ls Base — great economy car, very inexpensive. i had 35 miles per gallon on average on the highway and 30 in the city. its not the most luxurious car out there but it was a reliable car. i would buy this car again in a heart beat.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great economy car

Cons: it was underpowered but thats to be expected with a base model

Fun, Economically Priced Sports Car. — Most fun car I've ever owned. Nothing fancy, but decently engineered, everything works and goes like crazy. Gets a few looks too, mostly because of the huge factory wing which is a bit gaudy, (but who cares) and one of the best colors GM has come up with in years.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Awesome car.  Reasonably priced, lots of power, (supercharged 2.0) fun looking with the big wing and fun to drive.

Cons: Turning radius is huge for such a small car. Geared very low. Could really have used a 6 speed.  I find myself hunting for another gear when I'm already in 5th.

In My Opinion, Stear Clear Of Cobalts — I bought my 2006 Chevy Cobalt 2.2L in November, 2011. It only had 90k miles on it and not two weeks after I made the vehicle purchase I began to have engine stalling problems. This seems to happen when slowing my speed or stopping (car absolutely HATES stop and go traffic). No engine trouble lights come on so I have no codes to check. Lights seem to dim out when the RPMs fluctuate (before stalling, my RPMs are very irratic, bouncing from as high as 800 to as low as 200). Mechanics at the dealership have even requested that I stop bringing my car in to their shop because they can't duplicate the problem (they claim their mechanics have put 200 miles on the vehicle without the problem occurring).

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Car handles tight turns pretty well and is decently gas efficient.

Cons: Stalls out a lot, mechanics stumped by this issue

Funnest And Fastest Car And Amazingly Priced — its super light and super quick. ive seen them out run new 5.0 gt mustangs so the power is all there. Statistically it could keep up with a viper off the line sharing a 4.2 0-60 time. It looks amazing. Has a slight tuner look for it but is still an american car. interior is amazing with the black and yellow inside and all black exterior. gets around 28 mpg if you can keep your foot out of it that is. and its amazingly fun to drive. You can haul a$$ or just cruze and let the look and sound of the supercharger speak for its self.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Speed is there or you can stay out of it for gas milage. 5 speed transmission shifts smooth as can be and the supercharger sounds awesome. i get remarks on the looks and constantly have to answer questions about supercharger.

Cons: not a thing

Fun Daily Driver — I love the car,i bought it just to drive to work and i enjoy the drive... I would deff buy another one. Great fuel mileage and handle like its on rails, plus after I insatlled the K&N Typhoon cold air intake,The whine of the supercharger screams!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Supercharged,sporty looks,handles like a Vette,and got 36mpg best tank,and 25mpg worst tank,sunroof,did i say supercharged!! Lol

Cons: Trunk is roomy for car size, but trunk opening is small..The SS Recaro front bucket seats could be a lil wider ;)

Its Fun To Drive — i like the car overall. the only down fall i see is that there is barely any room in the back seats, but honestly dont car i didnt buy to be a family car. the front wheel drive helps the handleing alot, and when cruising down the highway at 70 mph, sometimes 90 mph, the car feels surprisingly smooth.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: easy to work on.

Cons: could use better acceleration

Very Good Vehicle For School Kind — It got very good gas mileage, it has a good color on the vehicle and it runs very well. It has been very dependable for a school child and has maintained the ability to keep her going from school to work

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great car for fuel mileage for school kid or driving for work long distance

Cons: small
