Great Basic Car — This Altima is fun to drive and easy to care for. It is very reliable and has good room and comfort particularly in the front seat. We use the car regularly around town and also on long trips. It has adequate power, but we are not high speed drivers. Accelleration is fine for driving in town and on the highway, it handles and brakes well. The ride is smoth and comfortable.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Handles well, very little maintenence, comfortable

Cons: Limited power, a lot of similar cars on the road

A Simple, Over-powered — nissan altima 3.5SE is a very roomy & simple in repair car. but somtimes it feels like it's too much power for frontwhell drive vihicle, especially when it's rainy outside. in other terms it's mostly like toyota camry 2002-2006. but it's fun to drive it! the only reason i sold it, because the cost of ownership was exceeding my family budget haveing two cars with 3.5L engine.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: roomy, powerfull

Cons: fuel consumption

The Altima Is A Reliable Vehicle For Travel, Fun Or Family! — low maintenance, I love my car! The only thing that went wrong was the neuatral safety switch or park shift interlock(not sure witch); I have to keep something in there to allow it to shift, have not had the time to take it in or call about it.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: it drives very nice and has been totally reliable

Cons: NOTHING

Overall A Good Car That Has Served Me Well, Fun For Spirited Driving Yet Reliable For Everyday Use — The 6 speed makes this car, the automatic is not very good. If one can drive this car (which I can) you will smoke all automatic 350z's no problem. Build quality is good all the touch points are taken care of a few squeaks and rattles but the car is 5 years old. Interior and Exterior are very well thought out and quite a classy upgrade from the 3.5SE. The seats are phenomenal and very comfortable and only available with the SE-R. The car has been trouble free since I have owned it and and averages 22.5MPG with my spirited driving. It is very fun to drive considering it can me a family truckster/grocery getter

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Style, Performance, Exclusivity

Cons: Manual can get annoying with everyday driving, nothing else

Love It. — Gas Mileage sucks after modifying stock air intake. Overall, Love the ruggedness of this car, its good looking sporty, smooth, and meant to be driven everyday! There is a lot of room for modifications with this nissan, and it is a very good built chassis.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The Se-R taillights are sexy, and its a quick car!

Cons: Clumsy around corners , loose steering.

Like It But Will Get An Suv Next — Fast, fun to drive, decent on gas. A little too low for me. I like an SUV better, feels safer. It is a fairly cheap car to operate and own. Very reliable and doesn't burn much gas when you don't stand on it too much!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun

Cons: not an suv
