Amazingly Fast! — This is the amazingly fast 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII FQ-400. Damn EXPENSIVE, but this FQ-400 is just enought to beat a Lambourghini Murcielego!

Pros: Looks Amazing, drives smooth and even stock parts make it fast.

Cons: Really expensive due to its engine.

If Speed Is Your Primary Goal, Look No Further. — This has to be the best "driver's car" under $40K at the time. Sparingly-equipped, it only came with the go-fast essentials : a turbo DOHC inline 4, AWD, Brembo brakes, BBS forged alloy wheels, CF spoiler, Aluminum roof, Recaro seats. Everything else was just there to qualify as a modern car.

Pros: You can smoke almost anything in sight.

Cons: The fastest way to lose your license.

Works Evo Viii — Works TR340 w/ White Rabbit Turbo. Almost every engine option Works sells, stock suspension, Works racing brakes, ect.

Pros: LOVE the acceleration, love the brakes, love the AWD.

Cons: Yeah... if you know me, you know my complaints, that's all I'll say.

Best Performance Per Buck You Can Have.. — Overall its a great car to drive fast and faster to A to B. Its not a chill/cruise type car because of the looks and hard setup. It draws lots of attention from playstation generation, but dont expect to pick up girls a lot if you are into something like that. An m3 can get you ladies but to a price of an m3 you can get an evo 8 (all weather, 4 people, track car) and a 3series convertible for cruising and summer. Althoug im sure you are not gonna step out from evo to bimmer much. Base models are not fast enough (280ish hp), but for $5k u can have factory (ralliart) modify it up to 360ish hp, which will give you more than you need..

Pros: Amazing 4wd system, can go bezerk with 4 ppl and luggage, not so much around, cheap to modify, can beat everything but 911 turbo and 430, cheap to maintain, good brakes.

Cons: One may not like the looks (its better than scooby imo), eats up clutch very fast if dragged a lot(not if not draged), interiour is a shame, likes to drink, cant get much fun if you dont track it becasue the 4wd system dont let you oversteer much (its not a con if you are not experianced thoug..)

All Around Great Car — This is my daily driver. All around great car. Seats 4 comfortably has a giant trunk. Fantastic acceleration and power, interior is spartan, cheap looking, and can be noisey at highway speeds. The seats are very comfortable.

Pros: Powerful and surefooted. Easy to drive. Lots of storage. Surprisingly good audio system.

Cons: Attracts too many fanboys. A bit of a gas guzzler. Stiff shocks can be rough. Noisey and cheap looking interior. Stock it is not nearly as fast as people make it out to be.

Very Fast, Awesome Handling — for the money, this car is 1 hell of a bit of kit, it would blow majority of ya expensive super cars away from a standing start (not bad for a little 2ltr engine) goes round corners as if on rails.

Pros: acceleration, handling

Cons: thirsty,

My Dream — Performance is excellent esp. after she eats E85. Braking seems like some performance pads would be nice but the factory calipers are great! Have not needed any fixes. Fun Factor is off the wall or scale Gas mileage is down a little bit but only because it's so fun to romp on!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: E85

Cons: That I cant afford to upgrade it more.
