Suprising. — When I first had this car I was disappointed because I wanted another Ford Focus. Turns out this is a damn good car. Very practical for my life style since i move about every 4-6 months between my job and school. The 2wd version is decent enough in the snow so I feel the 4wd version would just be more costly to own. I have the base model with 2.3 Liter I-4 and 5 speed manual.

Pros: Practical, good economy, very cheap insurance

Cons: gas tank too small, manual is challenging to drive compared to other cars if driven.

Base Model Ford Escape With Fwd And 5-spd Manual. Very Practical For My Lifestyle. — A great car in general. Good compromise between SUV and car. I move around alot so having this car fits my life style perfectly. The fwd model handles well enough in the snow so i feel like the 4wd would just cause more problems than benefits. Plus this car saved me 200+ dollars on insurance.

Pros: practical, good size, comes in manual, decent gas milage.

Cons: with the I-4 its a bit on the slow size.

Escape The Monotonous — Comfortable space and small, has everything I need, parking in the city (Chicago) is no problem. It has 6CD player + sat radio, woofer, backup sensor, AWD, automatic lights, sunroof, leather seats, good height, (sidewalks are good shortcuts to go over in parking lots).

Pros: Great space, good looks, AWD, 200hp, quite inside, heated seats

Cons: Hand brake is a bit far for me but thats all I can really think of its a damn good SUV
