Bmw — Its a luxyrious car with high comfort. The acceleration is good and the car has some coool features. Its always nice to drive a 6 geared car. The negative thing is that It uses much fuel, but its still a very fun car to drive!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It looks nice.

Cons: the gears are a bit slow.

Bmw 5 Series Is Everthing It's Cracked Up To Be... — Cupholders suck! The I-drive takes some getting used to. Mileage is good, I average 27 mpg, car handles very tight. It's a very good car and I would buy another BMW. Service department treats you like a queen! Havent had to pay for a thing!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Performance

Cons: Cupholders!

Brilliant In Sport Spec — Big diesel performance the best thing about the 530d. Build quality good; paint poor Handling not up to the "ultimate driving machine" moniker on the SE even with the optional sport suspension option; you need the Sport. Fuel consumption high 30s if you cruise; low 30s if you're pushing on [auto]. Plenty of seating room, but bot not the biggest.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the great 6 cylinder diesel

Cons: sloppy handling for a BMW

Best All Round Transportation You Can Put Your Mitts On! — Performance - very adequate but not outrageous Build Quality - It's a Bimmer for g-ds sake Appearance - Orient Blue Mettalic... it looks gorgeous with the tan interior and tinted windows Cost of Ownership - most everything is still under warranty and the service from the dealer has been nothing short of outstanding Fun Factor - a blast to drive fast... the car gets smaller and tighter as you get to highway speeds but it's never frenetic or fidgety.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Tremendous handling, braking and comfort

Cons: Not much in the way of aftermarket parts

Good Car For Any Situation — Its pretty fun to drive in any weather condition, but it can make do with a better soundtrack from the engine and more torque. It looks like every other 5-series too. The brakes are pretty good, but this is not a track car.

Pros: Drives amazing

Cons: Style

Best Car I Had — performance - good speed and cornering build quality - nothing repaired, quiet diesel appearance - flashy exterior, depends on the taste, good interior cost - expensive car, good gas mileage (diesel) fun - yes, rear weal drive is fun, it make you smile everytime you drive it

Pros: a car that makes you smile

Cons: buy a mercedes if you want a confort ride

Bmw 545i Smg — Best car I've ever owned so far. SMG tranny makes for improved performance. Car performed exceptionally well at Pacific Raceway Proformance Racing school. I highly recommend taking this class as it does a great job of preparing you for driving extremely fast & safe. :-)

Pros: Always fun to drive.

Cons: Not quite an M5

Great Car For The Driver — Performance - Great handling, brakes and acceleration for mid luxury car. Build quality - No problems or defects on my car. Nice comfort features and Logic 7 sound system is great. Looks- 545 has aggressive stance close to M5. Cost of ownership: (Only gas and winter tires). MPG Highway is 26, City 18, combined 22-23 Fun Factor - THE BEST, smooth acceleration, corners like a 3 series ( make sure you have sports package). i-drive issues are overrated. Once you make the intial settings you only use it of the radio.

Pros: Performance, great ride and handling, comfort features (get Sports Package); super fun to drive

Cons: Having a V8 when gas was over $4.00/gallon
