Good For Transportation But Not A Performance Car — terrible build quality average performance tons of torque steer and understeer the interior is fairly well laid out however the plastics are very low rent. the car is an average drive it handles well as long as it is not pushed hard through tight corners

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: peppy engine good looks

Cons: dire build quality FWD understeer

Sc/t — Just wish it was a manual with alittle more power. Like the SC/T concept. Supercharged 6 speed woulda been nice from the factory. Appearance wise they did a good job. Performance can top a GTP my main liking for the 3400 over the 3800

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Reliable and looks good

Cons: not enough power for me lol

A Nice Good Ride. — I love the way my car looks and performs but I wish it wasn't such a common car. I love the size and it gets pretty good gas mileage. All my friends like riding in it and it looks good because I always take good care of it.

Pros: Fast and in great shape

Cons: Well... my black paint is hard to take care of it but I can manage.

Hate The Grand Am — I just hated it. it was small and cramped and the motor couldn't handle the Mtns in TN. Too small too slow and I did not like the body style of the car. would not recommend this car unless you had a teenage daughter

Pros: none

Cons: a lot

2004 Pontiac Grand Am — I really enjoy my Grand Am. I have put a lot of miles on it but have not had to make any major repairs, all repairs have been from normal maintenance.I enjoy driving it, it is a V6 so it acceerates very well and it also brakes and handles well.

Pros: Great Car

Cons: The look of the Grand Am did not change much for a few years my 2004 looks similar to somene else's 2000

2004 Pontiac Grand Am Gt — Performance – good acceleration, fast braking, great handling around corners Build Quality – basic maintenence, replaced starter, basic oil changes, and replaced break pads Appearance –sporty interior, sleak exterior styling Cost of Ownership – costly on gas Fun Factor –this is a fun car to drive, with the sun roof open in the summer driving down the highway

Pros: Fun car to drive, Good handling

Cons: costly on gas

My Second Car — I bought my car in 2005 with almost 19,000 miles on it, i regret that i didn't haggle the price down hardly at all. I have had more problems with the brakes and rotars than i would have liked. One of the mechanis mentioned that they really didnt make the rotars large enough for the grand am's and the grand prix's for the size of the car. Right now the only problem with it is that the horn doesnt work because some kind of switch went bad and they said it would cost over 1000 to fix, I think i can get it done quite cheaper if i could ever find the time, Overall it is 10 times better than my last car, though probably not as great on gas. It has great pick up when i need to pass someone, of course we would all like more hp. because of my little brother it has a little bit of paint scraped off the back bumper, hope to get that fixed soon.

Pros: Good looking car, 28-30 mpg avg, Good amount of space (leg room and in trunk), Sunroof

Cons: a few problems with brakes, paid too much for it

Am: Cheap, But Powerful — This 4 cylinder engine is much more powerful than any V6 I've ever driven. Needs very little maintence in its first years - just the basics (oil changes, air filter, etc). Updated from the 1994 version: wipers have more speeds, including a variable and the possibility of running once without turning them on and power windows.

Pros: powerful

Cons: no power seats

Pontiac Grandam — Amazing torque...but not too powerful for the front wheel drive system. Interior is lacking compaired to most modern cars. So beautiful in the corners though, even when the back wheels slip out from behind you. All it takes is a little skill and a flick of the wrist to bring you back from the pearly gates.

Pros: Torque...steering...body stlying

Cons: Interior...radio...carpet...headlamps...backseats...
