Amazing — The acceleration of this car is down right amazing, it brakes very well and it handles like no other, i bought it back in 2008 for 8k with 76,000 miles, this car is very fun to drive, i love taking it out and just cruising, the only repairs i have done on it is get new rotors, shoes and pads (this only because i use my brakes to the limit). The exterior of my car is cool. I recently purchased a 35"x6' window decal that I applied myself. It is on the top of the windshield and spans the width of the glass. It basically says "Grand Am" but its pretty BA. All in all, I definitely recommend this car. In the near future (3-4 months) i plan on purchasing a 2010 Camaro 2SS.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Very fun to cruise in

Cons: None

Nice Car — good engine and drivability wise, bad accessory wise. Replaced 3 window regulators, and air conditioning compressor is out. Looks Very nice on the outside, have gotten many complements. Has a very nice sound system inside of it. has good gas mileage and good power for a sedan.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its a bad ass looking 4 door

Cons: window's break

All In All A Good Reliable Car If Taken Care Of — Decent car for the price; pretty basic..doesnt have all the extra that you wouldnt need or want to pay for. Basic maintenance costs but pretty easy to fix for the most part. Gas mileage with the V-6 was good. Pretty normal driving car..steering it a little stiff.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Just a basic car..

Cons: Stiff steering

04 Grand Am Se1 — after some slight modifying (K&N air filter and cherry bomb glass pack) it has some good take of and will sqeal the tires at 1200 RPM's. they made the front wheel asembly out of some weaker meatls so if u come close to fliping it when u put it sideway it will snap. one bad thing they did was put the head lights on one pice that runs the wideth of the car so in order for u to repleace the head lights u have to remove the front bumper. there is no dipstick for the trany fluide.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: better HP for chep, wheel asembly breakaway

Cons: head lights, and trany dip stick

Schweet — i love the pontiac grand am,though mine was not a GT(sadly) *cries* it was fast, good on gas, stylish, handling was amazing for it being FWD. braking was something to be desired, with the cheap pads.but with performance air intake and brakes this thing whoops ass!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: good on gas, performance is good

Cons: MINE was only capable of 115 mph before topping

2004grandamcustom — Traded in my 2001 Mustang for this, little bit quicker acceleration than the stang. Good starter car for mods, quite a few plans for this one. SC/T hood looks very nice. So far K&N filter, Custom Grilles, Debadge, Rims- Forte F5 wrapped in Toyo Proxies, Painted UIM, and some other engine dress up so far.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks

Cons: Not a whole lot of power

It Is Going To Cost A Arm And A Leg To Detail To Perfection. :) — The Pontiac Grand Am GT has a nice smooth ride to it. The color is a awesome Metallic Orange with a hint of Red. Also, it is the Ram Air series, so you can put a lot of detail into it. The car has a minimum maintenance to it, because of it being a low rider and have to watch out for curves and parking stalls. You don't want to scratch any paint off the bottom, Right.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The sporty look to it. Perfect for any age.

Cons: There is none.
