2004 40th Anniversary Mustang — 3.9 Liter (most V6 Mustangs have 3.8), Custom Leather seats, sound system, tinted windows, shorty antennae, chrome grille, projector headlights, chrome 17" Saleen Wheels, Low Profile Yokohama tires, euro tail lights, chrome tip dual flowmasters, high performance breaks

Pros: looks...wide tires and car suspension make it VERY dependable with high speeds around sharp turns...flowmasters makes it sound great...handles well.

Cons: stock breaks are HORRIBLE. stock headlights are HORRIBLE. (they are pointed downwards.)

Fun Car To Play With! — Its a good car to play with and have for awhile but in reality it is not a car that i want to have long term, with gas prices and seating availability.

Pros: fun to drive, looks good, sounds great.

Cons: gas eater, small back seat, no trunk basically.

Great Summer Fun — I bought this just to play with in the summer. I looked at a lot of other convertibles, but I am extra tall and this was the most comfortable for me. I also love American V8s for the torque, HP, and wonderful sound they make.

Pros: its a convertible, lots of performance for the price, sounds great

Cons: sloppy chassis

This Car Was Fun. — I got rid of my Mustang GT because it was giving me high school flashbacks. Don't get me wrong, it was fun to drive, but much in the same manner as a go-cart. I had wanted a gray 5-speed GT for a long time and I finally bought one, with black leather seats and the 40th anniversary badges. It was a blast when I was accelerating hard, or when going 125 mph in the middle of nowhere. But driving around the city, it was a pain in the ass. The shifter is not smooth, especially between 1st and 2nd. By 50k miles the squeaks, rattles, and road noise were deafening. No independent rear suspension. Add the fact that the interior looks like it was made by Fisher-Price and the outside has a big glued-on fake hood scoop and you will get the feeling that you should have spent your money on something classier.

Pros: Obviously it has a lot of power and torque and is therefore fun when you're pushing it hard. The engine appeared to be reliable. Mustangs seem to be built as tough as trucks, so they can handle whatever you dish out. The seats were fairly comfortable. I was able to fit surprisingly large objects into this car with the back seats folded down. I know the handling on these cars is supposed to be bad, but I thought it performed surprisingly well around corners, as long as the pavement was dry.

Cons: High school kids will want to race you in their daddy's Tahoe. The fake air scoops don't seem like a big deal at first, but after a while you cringe when you see them. The Goodyear Eagles are like hard plastic in the ice and snow, so plan on getting some all season tires. This is a crude, unrefined muscle car. If that's your thing, you'll love it.

One Of The Best Performance Cars For The Money. — You would think that because it's a Ford, it's an unreliable vehicle but this one has been very reliable. Routine maintenance is all I've done to it. Out of the box performance is very good, but it could be better, and that's why there is a huge aftermarket available for these cars. I get compliments on it all the time and I love every bit of it.

Pros: the acceleration and exhaust tone

Cons: mediocre handling and braking abilities

Smooth Ride--feel Like A Kid Again! — After years of small 4 cylinder automatics, I feel like I'm in a real car again. The 4.6 V8 5-speed easily passes the little cars and minivans on the interstste. It is a smooth ride and very comfortable to drive. At 55 years, I feel as free as I did at 17 in my '69 Mach 1. Better late than never!

Owner for 2 years, 3 months

Miles Driven per Year:9,000

Pros: 5-speed, 4.6 V8, smooth, quick,affordable.

Cons: Mileage compared to the slow 4 bangers I've driven like forever.

Mustang — Cool car, not very fast, sounds great. Fairly outdated 11 years later. Exhaust hangs very low on the car and hit most anything. eats up alternators like they were jelly beans. best part about it is the noise it makes.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sounds awesome

Cons: Quality is sub par
