Second To The Best!! — The car is just absolutely beautiful! Just by looking at it, you wouldn't think it was powerful, but it is EXTREMELY powerful! The car is just so fun to drive!! Not only is the car powerful, but the gas mileage is GREAT!!

2004 Supercharged Monte Carlo Ss — It a great car. I've wanted one for as long as I could remember. It's a fun car to drive, it's got great response, it's fast, the interior and exterior are great, and the gas mileage is good. The handling is really good, the braking is great. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the body kit is kinda messed up and you have to be really careful because of how low it is.

Pros: great all around

Cons: it's kind of a big sports car

The Sweetest Thing I Ever Owned! — This cars is the best!! 3.8 6cyl supercharged front wheel dr. black on black, and FRIGGIN FUN!!! it also has a smooth ride and takes off like a glider;) I never needed repairs in the three years I had it and the tires amazingly lasted through all the racing! Its beautiful inside and out!!!!!!! I used to park it where I could see it where ever I was;) After gas prices went up though it was expensive because its premium gas only and the supercharger eats it up! I CANT SAY IT ENOUGH, THIS CAR ROCKS AND EVERYONE I KNOW KNOWS THIS!!!!!!

Pros: EVERYTHING

Cons: NOTHING...WELL MAYBE PREMIUM GAS AND GAS PRICES;(

2004 Monte Carlo Ls —

I've owned my 2004 Monte Carlo LS for about 8 months. The car has 35,000 KMs, but already has a problem with the steering. GM use's faulty Intermediate Steering Shafts in these and many other vehicles. They only last around 35,000 kms before needing replaced. There is also a known issue with the intake gasket melting allowing anti-freeze into the oil, thus seizing your engine. There are a lot of rattles and vibrations in the cab. Most notably in the drivers door and the dash board. At times it sounds like the dashboard is going to rattle itself off. But nitpicking aside, it is a seemingly reliable car. Not the fastest, only having 170 hp and 205 lb ft of torque. It is excellent on the highway, as long as you are going a reasonable speed it will not rev higher than 2000. Normally it will be at around 1500 at 100kmph. Excellent fuel economy for a car of its size. Also, lots of leg room front and back. You can comfortably fit 4 adults in the car. It comes with a 4 speaker sound system, which isn't anything special. Good sound quality, but could use some tweeters. Very smooth ride, power when you need it. Overall I would give the car a 70%. I payed $11,000 Canadian and think it was worth every penny. Warranty would be nice, but this is GM we're talking about. Can't expect too much.

Pros: Smooth Ride,  Quiet,  Comfortable, Styling, Molded Dash

Cons: Cheap GM parts, Overall cheap feeling, Lacks in power.  (3.4 liter engine only has 170 hp!)

Best First Car Ever! —

I love this car, the performance is outstanding, quick acceleration and the speeds builds quickly due to it's factory supercharger. It's build quality isn't the best, doesn't warn you of power steering fluid, but you'll find out about it hen your car starts to whine... I had a regular 2001 Monte Carlo SS before this one and it kept me alive through my first car accident( 50 MPH with no seatbelt collision... ), so I can't knock the build quality too much... Very fun to drive... The interior is full leather and very clean, cream and white to match the outside paint of white and silver trim along the bottom... Maintenance is where the money kicks in, gas burner, premium gas only, no doubt, due to it's dual exhaust and 6-cylinder supercharged engine. Along with speeding is coming to sudden stops, so the breaks wear fast, well with me they do =p Beside maintenance and build quality, it's an overall fun car to drive and very smooth, after 40 MPH, is when the boost from the supercharger kicks in, so that's when the fun starts! For $12,000 used, the best fun a 18-year old first car owner will ever have!

Pros: Handling, Acceleration, Appearance

Cons: Gas Mileage

I Love My Car! —

The 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS has the strongest V6 I have seen. Unfortunately it is only a V6. That means when you get on it (For whatever reason) it's like driving a restricted engine. Of course they do offer a supercharged V6 and I can only imagine how much more power that would give you. One more thing on the downside and then I'll talk about something good about it. Who invented the front-wheel-drive? I would like to ask them what the point in that was, then I would like to ask Chevrolet why they made the Monte Carlo a front-wheel drive. But other than those small details that only someone who likes cars would notice, the car drives great. It is a couple of years old but in no way looks like it. It's only got 22k miles on it and has had no problems at all even though I've driven it everywhere. It's got great fuel mileage which is good in todays world. (I like to call it a fuel efficient racecar). Great car, looks fantastic, (Inside and out) gets 30 MPG HWY, sounds great at about 5600 RPMs ;) I think it's safe to say. "I love my car!"

Pros: Great car, looks fantastic, (Inside and out) gets 30 MPG HWY, sounds great at about 5600 RPMs ;)  I think it's safe to say. "I love my car!"

Cons: Front-wheel drive.....

My 2004 Chevrolet Ss Supercharged Monte Carlo!!! — It is one of my most favorite cars. I was so happy when I got her and I still love driving her whenever I can. It's just so much! I love that I've got the power under the hood finally and someday I wanna take her to the strip and test out her true power! She's got the paint job I wanted, usually gets around 26 mpg, nice star wheels, got power, and she's got under 21,000 miles on her.

Pros: eye candy, nice interior, good price, good mileage, nice rims

Cons: got a few scraps on the body
