My 2003 Grand Am — This was a good first car. The only really bad part about it is that the brake system sucks and I've had it replaced 2 times in 5 years. The mileage is okay in the city but very good on the highway.

Pros: Appearance, space, stereo.

Cons: Brakes.

Pontiac Grand Am — Just got this car because my younger brother defunked on the payments to my mom. Now my boyfriend and I are making the payments. It has a few glitches, but that's because my brother hammered the car. My boyfriend, Will, had to put in a power steering pump. He also bought all 4 new Stinger GTS tires for the car. Now all it needs is a new front bumper and stereo!

Pros: Comfortable, Drives nice, Family car

Cons: Stock stereo, Power locks

A Decent Domestic Sport Coupe — Bought this car after owning a 98GT.. Different body style, different engine. Car is a head turner with the SC/T package and chrome wheels.

Pros: Sporty styling, reliable for the most part!

Cons: Lower Intake Manifold on the 3400 engines!

Great Handling Car. Good Size — Baught this car new in 2003. Had one year to go and it got into a head on crash. This car handles great on dry, wet and snow. Very hard to get this car to slip in the snow. Just a great car all around.

Pros: Stylish, sporty, great power, good handling, comfortable

Cons: None

Not For Short People — The back end is high up, anyone under 6' tall cant see anything. Other then that it is reliable, big and would be good for a family where the man is over 6' tall and always driving.

Pros: Lots of room

Cons: Back end is to high up.

Love The Grand Am — I drive a 2003 Grand Am and I love it! We are now looking at buying a 2006 Grand Prix because we have fallen in love with the Pontiac family! I love the fact that even though I'm a mom with car seats and window shades everywhere, the four door car still gives me that sporty car! They are just fun, drive wonderful, and a nice looking vehicle.

I'm A Pontiac Man , Love My Pontiac Vehicles — Monsoon CD Stereo system sounds great with the Factory Monsoon 250 watt Amplifier and the Monsoon Speakers, but for the rear panel 6x9 speakers needs up grade what i don't like about is that my Fuel Filter metal line is Rusted and wish that they made a fuel line that you don't have to replace every 3 years or so,

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Excellent on gas millage
for a 3400 liter V6 engine lots of power.

Cons: what i don't like about it is that my Fuel Filter metal line is Rusted badly wish that they made a fuel line that you don't have to replace every 3 years.

Happy With This Car — Was very sorry to let this car go this summer when the transmission failed on me suddenly. Bought it in 2008 with 56,000 miles and had to junk it with 140,000 miles on it. Was our only car for a few years, so it got some above average wear and handled it well. Was getting a little cramped with 2 kids and their stuff though, but could still make it work in a pinch. Definitely encourage anyone who finds one of these with a clean bill of health to consider it.

Pros: Great style, affordable, good mileage

Cons: Transmission issues, not the best in the snow
