A Sensible Choice For The Daily Commuter Who Wants A Little Fun In Their Ride. — A nice alternative to the all too common civic or corolla. I would describe the acceleration as adequate (hence 3 stars for performance). Handling has a definite sporty feel. Understeers quite predictably. Easy to drive at the limit. Smooth clutch operation, but shifter lacks the precision of a Honda’s. It shifts smoothly, but just not perfectly. Nice brake feel, easy to modulate. ABS really not necessary since the brakes have a very direct feel. So, this is a fun little car! Great mileage- 30+ on the highway. Just as with other small sedans, cost of ownership is very low. This is a practical, everyday car that has a bit of a sports car feel. If you are in the market for a civic, corolla, etc- don't forget to check out the lancer.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive, economical, practical

Cons: Could use another 10 or 20 horses...

It's Hard To Be A Family Race Car — This car is a spectacular for the price I paid and fun too!! Bought it to replace my commuting/family car and got so much more. I enjoy taking corners and feeling like the rally race is just waiting to start.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: You're it's action-figure

Cons: It has to abide by speed limits

Great To Drive — I love how this car handles the road, and the corners. I don't like all the problems the car came with. The owner B4 me didnt take care of it. So I am now paying the price. Over all I love my Lancer. Wish it was the Evo tho.

    Pros: Eye catcher

    Cons: Expensive parts

Japanese Cars Are The Most Durable Ones — it is a nice, family car that you could use it to race it once in a while, excellent quarter of mile race car, just to have a little of fun. very low gas consumption, if you add it a good sound system, it could be a hell of a car

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: smooth ride

    Cons: family car

I Love This Car — since my car is a 4 cylinder 5 speed it accelerates a little slow but i can still beat a 6 cylinder automatic in a race. the parts hold up very well and i love the look. my favorite part of my car is the gas mileage, i get about 35 MPGs.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun car with great gas mileage

Cons: Parts are sometimes difficult to come by

Very Sharp Looking! Suprisingly Fun To Drive And Economically Friendly! — I love driving this car. It was a great choice. Just needs more hp and a little street noise. I would like to upgrade to the 17 inch Enkei brand wheels like the Evo has.. Gas mileage is great, 27 city, 33 hwy!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sweet trim, inexpensive parts, reliable, great body control for a sedan!

Cons: Not enough horsepower, interior style

2003 Mitsubishi Lancer — It needed a little repair. Preformance is pretty good braking is good. The E-brake is a little stuck. Car is about $5000. Fun to drive? Yes. Good Handeling too. I drove this Car arround a parking lot just to get a taste of driving its my dads car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Preformance

    Cons: Durrability

The Esteban — This vehicle performs no better than the basic ES trim as the engine and suspension are the same. It does come with cruise control and lightweight OZ rims where as the ES does not. I prefer the standard transmission. 0-60 is somewhere around 9 or 10 seconds and I got tired of counting in the 0-100. It's fun to look at and somewhat fun to drive. I did little things to improve performance such as slapping some Firehawk GTh tires on, K&N air filter swap, fully synthetic oil and some Iridium spark plugs. It's slightly more peppy. Handling is decent, though with a lot of body roll due to the "I'm driving grandma around" suspension. Watch out for understeer in the corners! Don't expect this car to be anything like the Evo as the only thing they share is the frame and most of the interior. But, I have put this car through hellish driving and it seems to just smile and want more. I am impressed with how little maintenance I've had to do outside the normal upkeep. Overall it is a nice daily driver that can take a beating and, if you learn to use this car's weaknesses to your advantage, can be quick car through the corners.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Durable

    Cons: On the slow side.

Amazing, I Love It, She's My Baby — Overall very good tuner car. If you want to put some money into the engine, your lancer will be quick, simple money over time is all that is needed. Off the start they are decently quick but with improvements and a bit of money spent they are amazing cars. I love mine sooooo much.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: love the look, feel and tuning possibilities

Cons: the base hp isn't great but it's a tuner, so it's allll goood
