The Best Econo Box Sports Car Ever Made! — This car is amazing. I love everything about it except for the spoiler blocking the rear view. It's got a great suspension setup although a little harsh for a daily driver and it's very functional with large trunk, four doors and AWD for the winter. It can be easily modified to super car performance specs and gets 20+ mpg. I sold this one but plan on buying a white 05 in a year or so minus the boy racer wing. Pros: Handling, Power, AWD Cons: Rough suspension. Boy racer wing that block your rear view. |

Awesome Car For The Money — Sweet car. Stock it would run the 1/4 mile at 13 flat, with a little added power like mine had, it would easily run low 12's. I even beat a Ferrari with this car on M-59. Turbo, all wheel drive car which can beat most of the cars on the road. Pros: Fast, gets attention, handled awesome! Plenty of room for friends. Cons: You were lucky if you could get more than 180 miles on a full tank of gas. Premium only gas, cops follow you everywhere you go. |

Hard To Beat The Performance For The Price... — ...a sedan that cuts 60' times in 1.5 seconds, 60mph in 3.6, and the 1/4mile in just over 11 seconds. It does this, and gets 25 mpg. I drove a friend's Evo 7 GSR and it's wicked fast at 25psi... and it'll walk down a Viper or a Corvette at a road course. All for less than $40k!
Pros:
AWD, S-AYC, ACD, and S-ABS. Cons: Insurance, initial cost |

Rally Car For The Street — Greatest bang for the buck. If you dont know what this is you're not a gearhead. I miss the feel of boost hitting you in the back and letting off the gas at 130 knowing you could have easily gone over 150. Nuts...In my opinion way better car than an STi. haha. sorry to all those subaru guys. If you love boost you'll love this car. If you want to buy a used one, the seller is lying when he says, "I never modded it or raced it". Straight up liar.
Pros:
Superfast 0-60 4.7 sec, 1/4 mile 13.5 sec. Cons: After you've driven with that much power you can't go back...so hard...Brakes would have been crazy expensive to replace. Car made me crazy fast everywhere I went and want to race every fixed up car near me. Apparently this car does not like GMR (canyon driving). Has a tendency to flip over if you drive too fast..trust me i know..haha. well..not ha ha. I still want another one. |

Fantastic Performance For The Money — Great performance, grip and handling. Rare. Good value. Expensive to run and maintain. Thirsty. Interior is nothing special. Pros: Great performance, grip and handling. Rare. Good value. Cons: Expensive to run and maintain. Thirsty. |

Fq 300 With 30 Extra Horse Power — FQ300 with mitsubishi 30 HP upgrade. Boost improved giving a 0 to 60 MPH time of 4.3 seconds and a 0 to 100 MPH time of just over 11 seconds. Active yaw control gives the car precise and very good control in all normal conditions but the big tyres can be a pain when the black stuff gets a bit slippy with either snow or ice. It pulls like a train in all 6 gears and if you get the changes right there will not be many cars which can keep up with it, especially when it comes to the twisty bits. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Flipping quick, go kart handling, Cons: You will need shares in a fuel company |

2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Review
Dave says:
The Evolution is a handling and power monster. If you want to go fast and take corners, this is the car for you. However, if you desire a good daily driver that almost performs as well as the evo, the STI is next in line. The STI transmission is buttery smooth and an improvement over the Evo, as well as the suspension is a bit better tuned for daily driving. The DCCD system in the Subaru is superior to the ACD in the Evo for adverse conditions. The WRX is a great starter platform if the budget doesn't stretch to make an Evo or STI possible. vs2003 Subaru Impreza WRX
