Very Sleek And Sporty. Eye Catching. — This truck is very quick and I love it, the interior is very sound deadening and the stock speakers are wonderful. The interior is so clean and fresh and the way the truck handles astounding. The only thing I did not love about this truck are the torsion bars.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Just a great all around small pick-up.

Cons: Torsion bar suspension.

Dependable Ride — 3.0 auto 3.73; nice acceleration, solid braking excellent load carrying ability. Really dependable having almost zero maintenance cost; limited to oil changes, new battery, and now new spark plugs. New tires went on last year, need a new bed cover but that can wait

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Almost zero maintenance costs

Cons: bouncey ride

I Absolutely Love It — overall its a great truck, the quality of the vehicle is very great. it is very stylish, and handles great. the cost of owning the vehicle is fairly low so far. havent had it a year yet. but it is a great vehicle.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: i love the lift, cant wait to get a system and bigger rims and tires for it.

Cons: i dont like that it doesnt have power windows or locks. :(, yeah thats basically it haha

If You Want Something That Is Well Made And Will Last Then Consider A Ranger. — This is my 3rd Ranger. My first one I drove for 100,00 miles. My second Ranger was a 1990 that I drove 225,000 miles. Is there any wonder that I bought another one in 2003? I'm 68 years old with bad health. This will be the last truck I will ever need.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: They just last and last.

Cons: There are no reasons to avoid it that I can think of.

A Great Truck For The Buck — I Like the Ford Ranger. I have the 4.0 SOHC V6 with a 5 speed manual 4X4. it has good power, i tow a 4,000 lb camping trailer and it does fine. i have 46,000 miles on it and have had no trouble with it yet. there is a squeak in the dash that is bothersom but overall interior is well built. the exterior is ok, the sheetmetal seems a little flimsy in spots but have had no rust or parts brakeing yet. I get about 22 mpg avg (not towing). i do enjoy driving it, the 5 speed with the 4.0 makes for a good time.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 4.0 makes driving it fun

Cons: generic design

I Would Not Hesitate To Buy Another One! — Awesome little truck! Rangers are unbeaten in their quality and reliability. The Edge with the Flareside bed really pops! Sure, it's no race truck but the 3.0L moves it around with no problem. No trouble or repairs. I'm averaging 22-23 mpgs per tank. My biggest complaint is that it has a small gas tank and that I have to fill it a little more often.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Excellent reliabilty

Cons: none

The Biggest Small Turck Ever — i love my truck! i have very few cars i would like to drive besides my truck but i will never give it up for any of them. i love the hieght that it is at and how it drives. it handles great on the road whether it is flat or not, obviously it doesn't drive like a sports car but it does have some power under that hood. i have had very few major problems with the mechanics mainly things that wear out normaly like shocks and bearings. maintenance has been normal nothing more than you would have with most cars, the gas milage is not that great but it is a truck so that is expected. i love driving my truck but i love the way that trucks and big vehicles drive, if you want speed this truck isn't for you.

Pros: it is dependable and handles great

Cons: gas milage

Amazingly Manufactured By Ford — It's a built Ford Tough Ranger and its unsurpassed fuel economy and reliability has been remarkable. It gets about 30 mpg highway and 25 city and has been a vehicle that has impressed me numerous times! Theres nothing that can beat the quality of a Ranger pickup!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Least cost of ownership and reliability1

Cons: None
