being a impala owner im partial to the impala besides its interior quality was not the best but it was better than ford since the dash on the taurus comes apart when it gets older besides i can throw aftermarket parts at the impala being a GM w-body.

Pretty Good Car. — This car is a great family car. Great for trips and it will always be there. You need to not have a led foot because this car burns a lot of gas. All in all, It is a great car.

Pros: I Loved that the car was big. It felt like you were driving a small suv.

Cons: Its a bigger car and its sucks alot of gas.

Reliable — Very solid and reliable car. Not too many repairs mostly just regular maint. Great for family trips and long business trips in a vehicle that handles well. Respextable appearance. Comfortable and resonable gas mileage. The only drawback is the emarrassing piston slap/ticking in the cold weather until it warms up.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Awesome? no

Cons: Noisy when cold. Piston Slap

Its A Grandpa Mobile With Questionable Quality. Automotive Enthusiasts Look Elsewhere! — Well its a big comfy winter beater that is kinda quickish, handles not great, has crappy build quality, leaks oil and coolant, goes through brakes too quickly, and has a slipping transmission. On a good note it was free, it is quiet, comfortable, and decent on fuel.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its free

Cons: Engine, transmission, and build quality problems

Ho-hum — A fairly mundane car, pretty solid construction and spacious. The engine is raspy and feels underpowered, and the steering is less than eager. Good car but nothing exciting. I got mine for pretty cheap. otherwise I wouldn't have looked at an Impala

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: cheap! solidly built

Cons: gas mileage, performance
