2002 330ci — Great car for the money, my budget was under 10K and I think that was the best choice. Purchased from a local used car dealer with the inspection done before. Had it for 14 months and very happy with it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: handling and look

Cons: do not really brake but maintenance is pricy

Quality That Is Bmw. — Easy to work on if needed. This My third Bmw. That should say it all. This car is all performance. Handling is beyond impressive. nice acceleration on the highway with quick response. Perfect Summer Car!!!! So open the sun roof and drive baby, Drive!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its a BMW proformance quality perfect sport/proformance (yes there is a difference).

Cons: The color, White is OK but too plane jane for me. The tan interior is gets dirty fast, so be aware you will love the car but to keep it beautiful you need to deep clean the interior at least once a year

Great Car. You Won't Know Til You Drive A Bmw. — The only thing I didn't like was the cost. lol Who wants to pay over 40K for anything. I am so glad i did. Its the best car i ever owned and I still only have 52,000 miles on it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Love this car!  Solid, fun to drive especially in spring and fall New England weather.

Cons: Cant drive it in winter, salt would eat the soft top alive.

Dissappointing - But I Have High Standards I Guess — Already mentioned in pros and cons. Overall I would not buy this car again. I really like the look of it, really a nice looking wagon. But there are minor issues that drive me nuts about it and the one BIG issue of the engine overheating. Which, apparently, is a problem in all E46 model engines. Look, I really respect BMW as a brand and I respect their efforts to bend the rules and push their cars to be the best, but the specificity of the cars is what kills me, honestly. This is a terrible thing to say because you should love uniqueness and specialty, but I guess I just like to find those qualities in the interior... not in the engine. LOL. I'm lame I know... but all I really ask for is a reliable, safe, fun car and this one just hasn't been it. Hopefully I start liking it better soon though, because I am stuck with it for a while....

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a beauty... even with the minor damages I bought it with (and the later damage caused by my boyfriend! ugh). The BMW wagon is by far the best looking wagon out there. And the power is great. Handling would be 5 stars but it I have a hard time with the suspension (it's a little rigid for me) and my car has a weird alignment issue that seems impossible to fix. Love all the features - leather heated seats, power everything, sunroof, etc.

Cons: The biggest by far - engine reliability. The thing seized after only two months of driving while on it's first road trip... grrr.. do your research before purchasing a car (especially a used one!! And be patient!!). Also, radio gets terrible reception. The AC fan is really loud, probably needs replaced, and the driver seat belt tensioner doesn't work. Of course, these are all in MY car. Except the sensitivity to overheating due to aluminum head and the radio reception. ALSO seats are incredibly uncomfortable!!

Great Car-buy The Extended Warranty! —

I have owned Acuras and Audis in the past both of which I loved for different reasons but when I drove this used 2002 BMW 325Xi, I fell in love. She was beautiful! Arctic White with black leather interior and every option available. At 139,000 miles and a price tag of about $8000, the money was right but the miles were a little scary. I bought the car from a friend who owns a used car lot and although he assured me that it was a good car, he sold me an extended warranty at his cost to make sure I was covered. I drive about 40,000 miles a year. At 194,000 miles my car had catastrophic engine failure. The warranty company replaced the engine with a used one at a cost of $5700. I paid the $100 deductible. This car is an absolute blast to drive, when it is actually drivable. Before the engine failure I was going to trade the car in on an Audi A4 but now I will probably keep it just because it's so much fun to drive. I doubt very seriously that this car will be my everyday driver again but I certainly look forward to weekends ripping through the twisty country roads out where I live.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Excellent commuter vehicle. Good power, good gas mileage and fun to drive. Stereo and A/C were top notch.  Interior appointments were excellent.  Beautiful fit and finish, a real head turner. Awesome in the snow and ice.  BMW makes the best all wheel drive system in the world in my opinion.

Cons: Power window regulators failed on all four doors.  Replacing clouded headlight covers was over $700.  Seats are not nearly as comfortable or supportive as Acura or Audi. The "outside air temp. sensor" which basically controls the readout on the dash board is tied to the climate control system.  When the senson fails, which because it is exposed to the elements it is inclined to do, causes the A/C compressor to shut down anytime the sensor reads 46 degrees or lower.  Replacing that little critical sensor at the BMW dealer was $400.  Both front axles failed in the course of 2 months.  The quote from the BMW dealer to install an $89.00 part was $1136 per side.

2002 With 57k Miles...very Rare! — I like this car because it drives and looks like its much newer than it is. It's one of my two favorite cars I have right now- the other is my Audi A4 cabriolet. The BMW is a great performing car and is solid in every way.

Pros: Great 2002 with low miles.  It's a 2002 but looks much newer.

Cons: I'd like to get the windows tinted!

Bmw E46 325i Se — this car is uick uber reliable with all the niggles from the late 90s e46 sorted out, can be problamitic on arches so always check thease all depends on how extensive cleaming has been through out its life, not suprisingly out sold ford mondeo in its time.apable of travelling anywhere 25i engine prefered for economy and power combined se comes with cruise control multifunction steering wheel leather parking sensors 10 thousand miles later after owning this car and it just keeps purring no matter how hard i drive it....

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the best of the 346 range for power economy value for money & o course that bmw style

Cons: nothing bmw got it right

Its The Average Mans M3 — The baby sports BMW. If you don't have the money for an M3 or have one and want a more efficient ride that handles and looks the same you have to get one of these. Other than the difference in power and subtle differences in looks its just like my M3.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A baby M3

Cons: Could use more power but its got enough

Bmw 325ci — It was a good car overall.. It never broke down on me... I drove it pretty hard and never broke anything... however i think my driving caused the valves to wear out... It started burning a lot of oil before i sold it.

Pros: Looks good

Cons: burns oil

Totally Worth It. E46 Body Style Is Better Than Any Other — the BMW 325 XI is an amazing car. The sound of the exhaust as you accelerate to a quick 60 in 7.8 seconds with stiff breaking. When it does need repairs it is rather expensive but still worth it. Gas mileage is a pain, but everything else about the car makes up for it. I love driving this car, you would to if you tried cornering with it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: heated sits in the winter XD

Cons: gas mileage
