Great Car If You Can Afford It. — Fast car, I run chargers and mustangs of the road no problem. I got done in by a BMW M3 and of course some motorcycles but other than that I own the road. Only thing is its like any luxury brand, Very expensive upkeep. $1600 for new HID oem headlights.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very fast car without the aggressive looks that attract police

Cons: Expensive upkeep, almost everythings Has to come from Acura dealership

Rubbish When It Was Brand New And Complete Rubbish When It Crashes You. — wobbling, not solid, not safe, head end too heavy, weight portion fail. Rear seat head rests unadjustable. Blucket seats don't hold you tight enough. Seatbelts are rubbish. Quality are rubbish. Woods trims are plastics. On board First-aid kit cover is made out of cheap plastic. Hateful car. Therefore my mum bought cause she knew nothing about cars. Noise isolation is rubbish. The only thing I could think of it's good is the Air Conditioning cool the car rather quickly. That's it. Work harder and buy an Audi A6 or Volvo S80.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: No reason to drive this car, rather suicide.

Cons: Very high-end Honda Accord. So why boarder than Acura?

Motor Trend Was Right! — Despite transmission problems (replaced by dealer out of warranty) this is the best car I've ever owned. Repairs and maintenance are expensive. OK gas mileage. Great fun; full of temptation. Everyone wants to drive it. Lots of silver Acura's where I live.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Handling

Cons: Transmission in Early 2000's

No More Acuras For Me — I had a 94 BMW 325 modified (and wished I had kept it) but I traded it in on a TL-S. I went through the front wheel drive tranny in less than 15k miles. I will never own a front wheel drive again. Ever attempt to park this car? It takes 2 or 3 attempts as it's turn radius is similar to a land yacht. After the tranny replacement, it would shift gears at 57 mph - could not make up its mind - absolutely unnerving!!! Resale value is lacking - now you know some of the story. One more point - do you ever see these racing BMW's? The German's build durable cars compared to these cars.

Pros: dealership appreciation

Cons: read the story

No — I have the injen cold air intake, factory honda brakes all around, tein coilovers with kyb struts and suspension technuques anti sway bars front and rear, this thing is in tip top shape just upgrades have been done, gas mileage is normal for this type of vehicle, maintence is minimal, this car is rolliing on 19' finally and it is fun to drive.

Pros: it's  a honda what can i say

Cons: nothing

Honda Tl — This car is great. Had some problems with it, but warranty covered it and if it even if it didn't i would be glad to pay $2000 to get a new transmission in here. This car is amazing to drive, great stock handling, great after market brakes. Great car for anyone that love luxury and power combined in one at an affordable price. Well affordable now used, not brand new when i got it.. and its great on gas!

Pros: great car

Cons: nothing

Tequila — Performance: It has decent acceleration, mediocre braking, decent handling... Build Quality: It's based on the Accord, so it isn't amazing. Appearance: Anthracite Metallic / Black Interior Cost of Ownership: City 19 MPG / Highway 27 MPG Fun Factor: The sound of hitting VTEC. Near-future Modifications: ATLP Exhaust System, AEM V2 CAI, 30% Tint, Tokico Illuma Suspensions / H&R Sport Springs I would recommend it if it didn't have a flakey transmission.

Pros: Hearing the VTEC.

Cons: Transmission Failure (Mine hasn't failed... yet)

Honda Car With A Bad Transmission — It was a toss up between this and a BMW 330i. I liked the 330i because they offered it in a manual transmission, but comparably equipped, the BMW was 10k more. The transmission could use some redesign, but overall, I'm pleased with the car. Been running Mobil 1 since about 20k miles, and it's got 125k on it now - not burning any oil, and has gotten 24.1 mpg (19-34) over its life.

Pros: Honda reliability most everywhere 'cept the transmission

Cons: have i mentioned the transmission?

Powerful. — This car is so fun to drive! It accelerates pretty fast and has 220 horse power. It also has the craziest braking ability plus turning. I like to speed around in it and it does have a decent miles per gallon. It also is semi-manual.

Pros: Fast acceleration.
Good handling.
Good braking.

Cons: Nothing.
