I Only Drove This Briefly But Its Beautiful — The Celica may feel slightly underpowered and there is a definite lack of mid-range grunt from the 140bhp engine. But it is still a fine car with rakish good looks and a stylish cabin. It's just a shame that the space in the rear is so poor.

Pros: Comfortable drive with very good looks

Cons: Some cars need new petrol tanks fitting - recall notice issued. Brake disc corrosion a problem on little-used examples. Tailgate struts may collapse.

Always Ready To Go When Yo Are. — Starts first time, every time. Sticks to the road like glue. Very responsive / quick. Leather interior. Sun roof, air con. Front and side air bags. Electric windows & mirrors. Digital dash.

Pros: All of the above

Cons: Rear seats/legroom is very confined. Suitable for children or short/small people only.

Worth Every Penny I Paid, Too Bad Toyota Quit Making Them! — Toyota built this car as a sports car. Unless you bought the GT-S, you got yourself a economy car. Don't get me wrong, you can get all the tickets you want and it goes well over 100. It does handle like it is on rails. I upgraded mine with Scion tC wheels and the lower wider profile tires definitely help with the cornering.

Pros: Great gas mileage, built in Japan.

Cons: Tough to haul things in the back.

2001 Toyota Celica 1.8 S — Low-budget sportscar with a nice appearance. Boot has much space for this type of car, rear seats are for emergency use only. No technical problems.

Pros: Gorgeous, not expensive in price or cost

Cons: Is not as fast as it looks

Hello Yellow — A genuinely smart purpose-built coupe that's as sharp on the road as it is to look at. It feels special and represents a sound long-term buying proposition.

Pros: Beauty

Cons: Wild

Great Style, Handles Well, And Good On Gas. — I love my Celica, in the past 2 years it has gotten through rough winters and hot summers comfortably. Rides nicely and looks like a car that cost 3 times what the Celica cost.

Owner for 2 years, 1 months

Miles Driven per Year:30,000

Pros: Great riding, great looking

Cons: uases way too much oil!

Great Car! — The car handles great, has enough power to be fun. It's not for tall people however since there isn't much head room. Not a family car either.

I only drove one briefly, but the one thing I can say is that Celicas handle extremely well. The steering is very responsive, the car goes exactly where you want it to as soon as you want it to. Think an expensive sports-car, sans the high-output motor. The one I drove had over 210 thousand miles on the odometer, and shifted very smoothly(was an automatic), I did not feel the bump as I do in my Civic. Grip is very good, also a side-note, these cars exhibit legendary reliability, trust me, anyone that mentions anything about the transmission having any sort of problem on a 2001-2005 undoubtedly needs to simply check and/or change their transmission fluid. Remember to replace the fuel filter if buying one. The front seats are comfortable enough, the interior is pretty standard for similar cars of this era, it reminds me of the 2001 Hyundai Tiburons interior. It is small, of course, though a moderately large adult can fit into the back seat without too much difficulty. Overall, though I am not an expert, I have always liked these cars, and in my popular opinion, they are extremely reliable, sharp looking cars that have wonderful handling, and enough power to get up to traffic speeds reasonably quick.
